Malcolm watched as the dove hopped into Camron's hand and smiled some. He could tell that Camron was nervous about holding the bird as well as the bird being held by Camron. 'They're both learning,' he thinks as he watches them, 'it's kind of cute to watch.' Mal observed as Camron would flinch at the bird's every movement and the bird would react the same. This was a very interesting and kind of funny event, but Mal enjoyed being a part of it. Once Camron asked if he wanted the bird back Mal nodded and held out his good hand. The dove hopped into it and looked towards the outdoors. "It's fine," Mal says to Camron, "besides he is ready to leave anyway." He steps out onto the balcony and watches as the dove flies off.

[Camron watched as Malcolm took the bird back. He didn't quite know how he felt with holding the bird. A quiet acknowledgment was given to Malcolm's reply as his eyes followed them to the window then followed the bird flying off. "I'm more a dog person than bird.." He spoke somewhat softly. Camron's gaze didn't leave the bird flying in the distance. "I have to say, it is a pretty creature." He shifted his gaze back to Malcolm, "It definitely seems to trust you."]

Mal watches as the bird flies off and closes the doors to the balcony with his good arm, which takes a minute but he got it. "Dogs are nice too," he says with a smile, "I like all of their different shapes, sizes, and colors. But I like that dove since he is like a small beginer's pet for me. Well- other than my horse. But I can take care of that bird a bit until he goes back home. My horse is cared for by me and the stable hands, so the bird just teaches me a bit more responsibility." He watches the dove fly off into the distance before answering Camron's other statement. "Yeah he does trust me a bit," he says, "it has taken a while though. But now I just hope that since he is used to humans he doesn't go causing trouble or anything." As he talks Malcolm sits back down on the bed and turns to look at Camron.

["Yeah, birds are interesting." He set his hands into his lap. "Yeah, I hope your bird doesn't get into trouble." Camron replied. His gaze continued to follow Malcolm as he sat down on the bed. "So, you ever had a crush on anyone? Just curious, you don't have to answer." Camron felt a bit awkward about the question, "uh- sorry if that came off strange." His attention turned to the book next to him, Camron grabbed it and held it awkwardly and began to read the back slightly waiting for some form of reply.]

He nodded with a smile as Camron first spoke about his bird. He crosses his legs as he sits on his bed and looks at Camron. When asked if he ever had a crush he felt his face heat up a bit. Mal's gaze shifted away from Camron as he answered, "Y-yeah I have had a crush on someone before." In his head Malcolm was trying to get the redness to leave his face before Camron saw it. 'Calm down Malcolm,' he thinks, 'you can't let him know yet.'

[Camron felt a bit odd as Malcolm looked away but he tried not to question it knowing that he does it a lot. He gave an awkward smile as Malcolm's face turned fairly red. "Want to talk about something else-?" His tone was fairly concerned. "I-uh" he was blanking quite a bit. "What do you want to talk about?" Camron's tone was a lot more casual and less somewhat panicked over the confusion of what was happening.]

Once he had gotten his blush to go away Mal looked back at Camron with a calm face. He listened as he spoke and had to think of something else to talk about as well. "What made you want to become a body guard," he asks Camron out of curiosity. He didn't recall Camron telling him for his reasoning of becoming a guard, so Mal figured to ask anyway. 'Not like I can explain why I became a prince,' he thinks, 'I was just born into it. Not anyone can be born into being a bodyguard.'

[He was still confused about the following reaction given, but was feeling better about the fact Malcolm seemed better. "I don't know honestly. I was bored and had nothing to do in my free time so I took combat classes with one of my sisters. Over time I just started taking up random short jobs that got longer and longer over time. I honestly don't even know why I'm here or more realistically how I got here." He let a slight chuckle escape under his breath but Camron was fairly serious about the last part.]
