Anya and Luther sat for a good long while, just talking and catching up a little bit. It had only been a couple of days, but it seemed like she'd missed out on loads. Her little office space really was out of the way, and because of the queen entering so frequently, people did just tend to leave her alone for the time she was in there. After about half an hour, she went back to dump her plates in the kitchen before walking stiffly towards the ward... she didn't want to go there, and quite honestly she hated the place. Doctors only ever had bad news.

Sage continued to take his time wandering back to the doctor's ward. He liked the doctor, and didn't mind it when the old man told him to be back for a meal, but he would much rather be outside in the sun and fresh air. He'd have to see if that window in the room opened up. He chuckled slightly at the thought as he walked. The doctor was writing in his notebook, when Anya walked in. He closed the book and nodded to the couch in his office with a grunt. "How are things going," he asked the girl to start.

Anya cocked her head slightly but gave a bit of a shrug when she was directed towards the couch. Once she was all settled, she just kind of looked at the doctor. "Things are going slow," she hummed with a small chuckle. She did like the doctor... she'd known him since she was a kid, and while he could be harsh at times, he was genuinely a good guy. She took s glance at the clock before sighing. "Is there a reason I need to be here? I still have things I need to do and then I need to spend a bit of time with Att..." she trailed off slightly, knowing he didn't need to know her life story.

The doctor chuckled at Anyas wanting to leave. He didn't quite blame her, the ward wasn't the cheeriest place to be. "Just wanted to check in. Youve been a bit...antsy lately. Crabby, if you will," he hummed. He snorted and waved away her concern. "Att is fine, and getting his social interaction in, don't worry." He fiddled with his pen as he spoke, watching the girl intently. Sage wandered back around, though he heard the doctor talking and saw Anya thought the window. He heasitanted for a moment before turning to find Luther and give Att back to him rather than face the girl and doctor both...he was late as it was.

Anya wrinkled her nose slightly and shook her head. "No... no, I'm alright. Why? Do I seem crabby?" She asked with a slightly cocked head. Well, she hadn't really been out of her office all that much over the last few days, so she probably did come across as a little... grumpy. "But he's my baby," she complained with a bit of a groan. "I feel like I haven't seen him in forever," she chuckled lightly as she grabbed a pollow that was on the couch and kind of hugged onto it before glancing back at the doctor. "Is Sage doing ok? We had a spat a few days back and haven't seen him since."

The doctor grunted and nodded. "You seemed a bit tense," he told the girl. He gave a thin smile at her complaint and then cocked his head slightly. "The boys working on it. Threatening him with a tube feeding is the only way to get food into him, and he spends most of his day off somewhere. Att found him somehow, so they spend time together often I believe." He pinched his lips slightly and sighed. "Why don't you try talking with him? He was upset after you left...he be open to an apology." He stood up and patted Anyas shoulder as he walked stifly out of the office. "Have a good day, girlie," he hummed as he went past, leaving the girl to think on it. Sage himself wandered until he found Luther, and came over to the boy. "I've somehow obtained your child again," he chuckled, though it hurt to call Att anything but his own.

Anya gave a slight frown as the doctor left. She did feel bad, but did she had been upset too. If she hadn't been upset then she would have never gotten so... she didn't know how she was with him, but all she knew was that it wasn't really nice. And she did know he was upset too. Maybe she should try and apologise... make things right again. But Sage hadn't tried that, so what if he didn't want things to go back to normal? What if he'd just had enough of her now, and that was the final straw... well, it didn't matter. She could stay for a while and try and talk to him. If he didn't want anything to do with her, then that was up to Ssge.

The doctor left the girl to think things over, well aware that teenage feelings were crazy things. And the situation between the two of them was, well...spicy, to say the least. He wandered around the ward, filling prescriptions and cleaning off things busily. Sage dropped Att off and left by then, and ambled back to the ward slowly, a small smile on his face. He enjoyed caring for the boy...he still felt like a father, if he could call it that. The boy still just seemed like his, even though he knew he really wasn't. But he'd missed caring for someone, and it was nice to do that again. He heasitated behind the door before peeking in and slipping inside, closing the door quietly behind him, keeping an eye on the doctor as he crept back to his room. He was late for the meal, no doubt the man would give him a slight lecture for how he needed to eat and keep a schedule. He liked the man, and the lectures were only because he wanted him to heal, and he knew that, but if he could act like he'd just been in his room the entire time, then that's what he'd do.

Anya sat on the couch for a little while longer, just looking into the floor. Maybe the boy wouldn't want her there, maybe he'd be tired of her trying to get something out of him...maybe that was what she was trying to do by shouting at him. Trying to get some sort of reaction out of him... something extreme. Maybe it was love, or anger, but she just wanted something like she'd seen from him before. To show that there might actually be a trace if the old him left, but it just didn't seem like he was there anymore. She heard the door shut and some light footsteps before a slight squeak of the mattress springs. She sighed and forced herself up again before wandering towards the curtain that hid Sages bed. She kind of knocked on the wall before poking her head in. She did try a smile... but it just seemed hollow. "How's Att doing? I assume he was with you. The doctor mentioned he keeps on finding you."

Sage was, admittedly, a bit surprised to hear Anyas voice when she asked the question. He felt his heart leap a little bit at the sound of her voice, then chastised himself. The girl hadn't been by in days, so she obviously hadn't wanted to stop by and see him. Granted, he'd been avoiding everyone but Att, and occasionally Luther, but really he just kept to himself in the garden. He flopped back onto the bed with a grunt and folded his hands over his stomach. He nodded and hummed, looking over at the girl after he set his bag down and settled in. "He somehow found my secret little spot in the garden," he chuckled. "I gave him a wooden sword and have been drawing while he plays. I give him enough advice for him to have some fun and practice at the same time." He smiled softly at the thought of the boy and sighed slightly. "It's been nice, going outside and being with him again," he hummed. Then he chuckled. "Though, the old man will give me an earful when I'm late for a meal."
