When Anya opened the door, she was met with the sound of Luther snoring, along with the soft breaths of Att. She didn't know what he was going there... he was supposed to be in his room with his friends. She closed the door quietly, though it wasn't quiet enough, because Luther shifted slightly. He gave a soft groan before smiling at the girl. "What's Att doing here?" She asked quietly as she got changed. Luther's smile turned into a bit of a frown at the question before shaking his head. "He was a bit upset earlier... apparently the other kids were being mean to him, so he left his own room," he murmured with a yawn. Anya frowned slightly at that... he'd been so upset that he'd left his own room? Poor thing. "You told them off?" She asked Luther as she carefully crawled into bed. He nodded softly in response as he watched the boy shift slightly. "Yeah. He came in here crying and was sleep by the time I was back," he murmured quietly. Anya could only look disappointed. She knew he had trouble with the other children but she thought that'd been sorted out. Att was still young, and it'd only end up screwing with him. Whatever, they'd make sure he had a good day tomorrow. Anya gave a gentle sigh as she rested her head on the pillow, Att sleeping away between both her and Luther. She woke up early the next day, to the sound of Att playing with his little horse with wheels. "Morning, buddy," she murmured gently as she stretched. Att grinned at her, seeming much better than he had the day before. "Come on, let's go get some food," she hummed lightly as she grabbed a dress robe and wandered out the room, Att draggging his little horse behind him. They'd probably bring a little something for Sage, too... Luther had already left early, so she assumed he had already eaten.

Sage knew he should probably get up once he woke up, but he didn't really feel like it, so he just kind of shifted around slightly and went back to sleep. the curtain around his bed was still closed, and he was in a corner, so it was still dark enough. He was glad for that, though he probably could have fallen back asleep anyway.

Anya and Att wandered towards the kitchens, where the grabbed three plates. One for Anya, one for Att, and the other for Sage. In truth, Anya didn't really want the child around Sage... he was I'll, and he had a lot going on... she didn't want him snapping in front of Att. Though, the child had insisted on meeting the cool dude she'd told stories about, and she didn't really have the heart to say no, especially while the child had a tough day previously. If Sage wanted to be left alone, that was fine, she just hoped he wouldn't be horrible about it. Once in the ward, she poked her head through Sages curtain. Lights were on, but it seemed Sage hadn't bothered to turn his on, so it was kind of dark in there. She didn't want to wake him horribly, though, so told Att to stay put on the outside of true curtain, not wanting Sage to freak out and scare the boy. "Good morning," she murmured gently, not too sure if he could hear her.

Sage stirred slightly when he heard Anyas voice, and sat up with a small yawn and wave. "Hi," he murmured. "You're back early." Well, maybe it wasn't actually so early...he supposed he was just up all night drawing so he was a bit tired. "What's up," he asked the girl, half expecting her to only stop by because she needed something. Then he felt bad for the thought...the girl was still a friend, and she wasn't going to use him for anything, she was probably just checking in.

Anya gave a slight nod and a bit of a smile at the comment. "Not really... it's nearly ten," she chuckled softly. "Att had a rough day yesterday, and he's wanting to meet the cool guy that saved him," she murmured quietly. Though, looking at Sage now... pale and ill, she couldn't help but feel the child would be disappointed. She was disappointed when she'd found him, too. Whatever, as long as Sage stayed upbeat she didn't think the boy would notice. "Can he come in and say hi? He's got food for you," she murmured quietly before glancing at the curtain.

Sage perked up at the thought of talking to the boy, nodding when Anya asked if he could come in. "He might be dissapointed," he murmured, cocking his head. Then he chuckled slightly. "You say that like food is what's going to bribe me to let him come in," he said in a rather amused voice. Then he shrugged and yawned. "Let the boy in. He'll probably get bored and leave after a while." He couldn't imagine that the boy would think he was the cool guy Anya had told him about...he was so much different now than what he has. Last night was only one example. Two years ago, he'd have woken up to fight, and wouldn't have been scared or have freaked out like that. At the very least, he would have been able to wake himself up. But he was eager to talk to Att...the boy had grown so much, and he'd missed everything about the boy....first word, learning to crawl, walk, run...it seemed sad, how he'd rescued him and then abandoned him with Anya and Luther. But the boy didn't seem to mind all the much.

Anya gave a slight nod to the boy... he was right, but she doubted Att would care too much. "Just be upbeat, he won't care," she hummed thoughtfully. She gave a small smile, wondering exactly how the child would feel about Sage. He was only four or so, but the child was... opinionated. She'd told the child Sage wasn't very well... but it didn't sound like he cared too much. "Just be nice," she murmured gently before calling Att through. He was only young, but he still looked ecstatic to see the Sage... genuinely exited. He came bouncing in, a small tray in his hands before he placed it on Sages app and crawled up on the bed. He still had an exited grin on his face as he stared at the other boy, then glanced at Anya for help. The girl chuckled slightly before humming slightly. Really, she just wanted Sage to reiterate some of the stories she'd told the boy... just to get him interested, she supposed. "Sage, why don't you tell him about the rebellion? And how you saved the queen," she asked with a smile.

Sage couldn't help but let a smile curve his lips upwards when the child came bouncing into his little area and sliding him the tray. "Hey kiddo," he told the boy, though Att seemed much too excited for lame greetings. He glanced over at Anya when she mentioned telling a story, and nodded and looked back at Att. "You want to hear a story?" When the boy nodded enthusiasticly he hummed in thought and then began to tell the story after a moment of thought. He tried to make it interesting, though he'd just had surgery so he couldnt throw himself around too much. But he could still be dramatic and make sound effects, which the boy definitely seemed to like. By the time the story was over, he was exhausted but felt better than he had in a long time...it was good to see the boy and act a bit like his old self.

Anya let a small smile fall onto her face as she watched Att's reactions to the boys story telling. He seemed so exited... so happy to be hearing from the boy, even if he did look like he was on his death bed. Att didn't seem to notice, though. He was just happy to meet the boy that'd saved him. Once he'd finished his story, Att gave a look of pure of pure awe before clapping his hands. "That's so cool!" The boy squeaked. He probably thought the boys life was amazing... exiting and thrilling, but Anya had only ever told him the good bits, as had Sage. But she was just happy to see Att happy. Exited, and she was happy to see Sage a little more upbeat too.

Sage chuckled at the boys enthusiastic reaction to the story and hummed in agreement. "You want to be a knight like Luther," he asked the boy. "Or would you rather stay at home like Anya and never fight in a battle?" He half wished the boy would choose to never fight...though that probably wasn't possible unless he became a priest or something. And the life of a priest was...well...boring. He couldn't marry or have a family, or be able to do much. He'd be stuck at a church worshiping some statue of some devine being who seemed to have forgotten about half the people they should be protecting. Wasn't much different from the crown, actually. Though Anya and Luther would do their best to change that, he was sure.
