Duncan kept his eyes down at his lap. "...I... I don't know what I want..." he breathed, tears welling in his eyes. He really did like him, but he was hurt... he was really hurt. Axel hadn't even tried to comfort him.

Axel felt tears prick at his eyes when Duncan admitted he didn't know what he wanted. He knew he'd be upset, and maybe this was what he deserved but....it still hurt. He was quiet for a moment longer before sighing. "You alright," he asked. "From earlier, I mean. I didn't get a chance to ask once you got out of the bathroom," he added, still clearly worried about Duncan.

Duncan started to really cry, tears pouring down his cheeks. He shook his head. "...no..." he whispered hoarsely.

Axel froze for a moment when Duncan started to cry, not sure if he wanted him to comfort him. Not sure if he wanted to be touched by anyone. But only for a moment. His body moved on its own, and he moved to wrap his arms around Duncan snugly, though where he could move or get out of he wanted to. "What do you need?" He didn't know if he could do anything from in a cell or on lockdown....but he could try.

Duncan shied away from Axel at first but ended up just melting into him. Duncan wrapped himself around Axel, clinging onto him and sobbing. "I... I... I need you..." he cried. "But... b-but I need you n-not to do... what you did- e-ever..."

Axel let out a soft breath when Duncan hugged him back, glad that hugging him wasn't the wrong choice. He buried his face in Duncan's neck, holding him tighter. That was comforting for him, too, if he was being honest. "I know. I'm sorry," he whispered. "It's all I know, Duncan. All I can do. But ..I'll do my best," he promised.

Duncan clung onto him. "Promise me- p-promise me you won't ever do it again,"

|
Axel heasitated for a moment, not entirely sure what to say. What if he promised that and then he couldn't follow through? What if something happened? But...for Duncan, he do his best. "Ok," he whispered softly.

"Thank you..." Duncan sniffled. Kai came back and their time together was up. Duncan gazed up at Axel. "Please j-just behave, I don't want to loose you..." he whispered. Kai cleared his throat. "We have to go now, Duncs," he said gently. Duncan nodded, getting up and walking over to him. He waved goodbye before they left. Duncan slept fittfully, plagued with nightmares as he twisted and turned. But the next day, Axel was moved to his new room and Duncan practically sprinted to Axels room when their 2 hour visit started.

Axel nodded taking a deep breath as he reluctantly stepped back from Duncan. "Promise," he noted when Duncan told him to behave. He held it together until Duncan and kai were gone and the guards were back at their posts where they couldn't hear him, and then he let the tears come. He wasn't sure how long he was curled up in the corner, tears slipping down his face silently. By the time morning came up, he hadn't slept at all, and even once he was in his assigned room it didn't feel much different than the prison cell. He just ...lay on his back, on the bed, staring numbly at the ceiling. No breakfast either, or water. He just lay there. He only moved when Duncan slipped into his room, to sit up on the edge of the bed. "Hey," he noted softly, attempting a smile. "You holding up ok?"
