Sera couldn’t help but smile back at Finn, feeling a warmth spread through her chest at the gentle squeeze on her thigh. His words felt like a small, comforting balm. She had been running on empty lately, pushing through mission after mission, but hearing that he had time to rest made her realize just how much she could use the same. "I think you’re right," she said, her voice soft but teasing, as she leaned slightly into him. "Maybe I’ll take a page from your book and ask for a few days off. It’s not like the Lieutenant will complain if I’m actually *resting* for once." She glanced up at him, her expression shifting into something more serious. "But I want you to heal, Finn. No pushing yourself too hard, okay?"

Finnegan Larson - Finn wrapped an arm around her shoulders as she leaned in. "Of course, sunshine," he agreed. "Just you and me lying around in bed," he smiled.

Sera let out a soft laugh, feeling the warmth of his arm around her. She nestled a little closer, her head resting against his chest. "Sounds perfect," she murmured, a smile tugging at her lips. There was something comforting about this—just the two of them, no distractions, nothing but the quiet rhythm of their breathing. She could feel her worries melt away with every second. "Just us," she whispered, her fingers tracing small patterns on his chest.

Finnegan Larson - Finn set the tray of food on the bedside table and cuddled up into her, letting her trace things on his chest. "Just us..." he whispered into her hair.

Finnegan Larson - Finn closed his eyes and buried his face in her hair, just as Micheal and Zoya walked in. "Ooooh~ you two are so cute together!" Zoya exclaimed and Micheal chuckled. Finn rolled his eys and looked up at them, but didn't move from cuddling Sera. "Hello to you too,"

Sera smiled softly at Finn's words, feeling the warmth of his embrace around her. Her heart fluttered at how natural it felt to be in his arms, even with Zoya and Micheal teasing them. She looked over at them, trying to suppress a laugh, knowing they’d never let them live this down. "Yeah, yeah, we get it," she said, her voice playful but with a hint of affection as she adjusted herself comfortably against Finn. "You guys always have perfect timing." She could feel his slight shift as he chuckled, but still held her close.

Finnegan Larson - Micheal and Zoya sat in the chairs next to the bed where Finn and Sera lay. "So how are ya feelin' Finn?" Micheal asked. "Much better," Finn said with a smile and gave Sera a look. "So how have you two been holding up?" Finn asked. "We've been doing fine," Zoya answered with a smile, still eyeing Finn and Sera with a smirk.

Sera glanced at Finn, her fingers gently tracing the edge of his hand. She couldn't help but smile at him, her heart still fluttering from the relief that he was awake and doing better. But when she noticed Zoya's smirk, her gaze shifted, a slight blush creeping up her neck. "We've been keeping busy," Sera said, her voice steady, though her eyes flicked between Zoya and Micheal. "Trying to keep things normal." She caught Zoya's teasing grin and shot her a small, warning glance.

Finnegan Larson - Finn smiled at Sera. Suddenly the morning work bell rang, and both Micheal and Zoya groaned. Finn chuckled. "Gotta get to work," Zoya grumbled and got up with Micheal. "Have fun," Finn teased. They both scowled at him. Finn just chuckled. "See ya at dinner, man," Micheal said before both he and Zoya disappeared out the door.
