"I guess it is. And don't worry, I'll make sure to be happy for you in the future." Mercy smiled in amusement at his reluctant admission. "You did." She nodded, looking back out the window. "Well, what would you like to do? Besides comfort my sulky-self." She teased, realizing his hand was still on her shoulder with a grin.

"Good." Ajax nodded, then raised his eyebrow slightly. "What would I like to do? Take a walk in some nature. What about you?" He joked, chuckling slightly. Ajax then also realized his hand was still on Mercy's shoulder... it was a bit numb so he had forgotten... and took it off quickly with a shake.

She rolled her eyes. "Well, seeing as you would make it about 40 steps and then collapse, that might not be doable." Mercy teased, watching him slip his hand away. "What do I want to do? Thats a great question. I want to find as many blankets as I can, bury myself in them, and turn on either a rom-com or a horror movie." She nodded.

Ajax snorted, looking offended. "40 STEPS!? C'mon Mercy I'm not a teddy bear! I bet I could get 100." He scoffed, raising his eyebrow when Mercy spoke again. "A horror movie, eh? What about Action? Or Comedy?" He asked, almost as if he was trying to make a deal

She rolled her eyes. "Yes you are. But you tell yourself whatever you want to believe, big guy." She teased, giving him a sarcastic pat on the shoulder. "Mnh. Nah, rom-com or horror, take your pick." She teased, flopping onto the bed face first and rolling over to look at him.

Ajax narrowed his eyes and looked at her. "Am not." He repeated, though he definitely didn't have as much gusto the second time. "Aw Mercy, but if I don't get a walk can I try for the movie? It's a miracle you are actually going to get me to watch a MOVIE, but could you at least lighten my agony by letting it be... maybe... Comedy or Action?" He asked hopefully, looking at her with raised eyebrows

"Ajaaaaaaaaaaaax." She whined, glaring at him. "Fine, you little butt. But only if you get me blankets AND Binx can sit on the edge of the bed. You don't have to touch him." She gave him an innocent smile. "The blankets are over there." She said, pointing at a closet on the other side of the room. She was pretty confident he wouldn't die because of it, so there was that.

Ajax mentally hooted, a triumphant look crossing his face. "Okay ma'am, blankets here they come." He saluted with a slight snicker, walking over to the closet she had pointed to and grabbing... as Mercy said... a pile a blankets. Ajax walked back over and dumped them on her, completely burying her under soft blankets, "Whoops." Ajax coughed, covering up a laugh.

|
She let out a muffled yelp, wiggling her way around and only getting herself even more stuck. She writhed hopelessly for a few more moments, then the pile of blankets laid still. "I didn't mean LITERALLY bury me. Ajax... Can you help me?" She asked through her coccoon, wiggling to emphasize the point that she was stuck.

Ajax let out a laugh, holding back the grimace afterward. "I'm sorry that I listened to you. That surely won't happen again. One moment," he chuckled, grabbing the blankets again and untangled them from Mercy. He placed them next to her on the bed, grinning. Ajax then grabbed a comfortable enough looking chair and dragged/carried it in there, sitting down with a huff. "I'm not moving again." He groaned to emphasize his point.
