Sage urged Chaos forward to chase after Quinn and Sahara and then when they stopped he frowned slightly. "I hadn't thought about that," he groaned. "I suppose the castle or snag money and go to town...it doesn't matter. What do you want to do?" He cocked his head curiously.

"...let's just grab clothes from the castle. It will be quicker and easier... and there is a less likely chance we will get seen by somebody that tells our parents. I'm sure at least MY mother has been parading around the town, making SURE every single person knew her daughter was getting married to you." Quinn snorted, walking Sahara a little closer to the castle.

Sage snickered and nodded, nudging Chaos in the direction of the same window leading into his room they slid into the castle before. As before, he slid off the horse and helped Quinn up before hauling himself up and into the room. "How many practical outfits do you have," he whispered. "Because I have plenty of hoodies or shirts you could borrow," he offered.

Quinn stopped in his bedroom and waited for him to get up. She fingered the edge of her shirt. "Re.. to answer that last question my parents were very... particular on what I could bring and what I couldn't. I had to sneak in the one outfit I have, and I didn't have the mind on me to get some more." She wrinkled her nose, sighing at her stupidity.

Sage chuckled and nodded. "I figured as much," he hummed. He pointed in the direction of the rather large closet and shrugged. "The hoodies and shirts sould fit you well enough," he hummed. "I'm afraid I can't do much in terms of pants for you though," he noted with amusement. "Pick some stuff out, I don't really care what you borrow." He peeked out the window on the door to make sure no one was coming. "no one's out and about yet, so we have some time."

|
Quinn nodded, blushing just slightly. "I'll be fine on the pants." She murmured, grabbing the smallest three shirts she could find ... and making sure they were black, or at very least dark grey or dark blue. She then grabbed a couple small sweatshirts and muttered, "I got everything I need, I believe."

Sage chuckled and nodded, getting the girl pick what she wanted before grabbing a handful of shirts and sweatshirts for himself. Most of his clothes were woodsy colored....blacks and greys and browns and greens that matched the trees and ground. "Let's go then," he chirped. He lowered her to the ground and then tossed their clothes to her before hopping down himself and picking his things up and hopping into chaos.

Quinn sat on Sahara's back, catching the clothes as they were thrown down. She waited for Sage then told Sahar to go, running through the woods silently in the cool light of day. When they got back to the campsite Quinn hopped off, looking at the Sky. She looked... different. "Sage.." Quinn started. "It's only three days till the month is over. Then our parents will have us get married. I would love to run away out in the woods Andy such, but ,y mom would send knights to track me down, then she would whip me when I got home..." Quinn trailed off. "I enjoyed the time we could spend together so far." She finished quietly, setting the clothes in a heap in the tent. She then sat on the ground with a sigh, staring at the rippling water.

Sage groaned and nodded. "I know...I'd love nothing more than to run off together. But even if I won't be king, I still have a responsibility to the kingdom ...I lead off the armies in war times," he sighed. "And even if they hate me I have a job to do." He sort of zoned out, thinking, years seeming to add onto his face. "Three days until the wedding," he hummed before looking over at the girl and giving her a small smile. "But I have to admit, it could be a lot worse for me. The only reason I'm not married to a cranky old lady right now is because you showed up," he told her. "And...I'm not crown prince so...we don't have to make an heir," he told her rather shyly, figuring that would settle some nerves. He did wish he could find a relationship where he could love and be loved, but that would never happen. And....well, this was as good as it would get, he supposed.

Quinn sighed. "Yeah.. I totally understand. I think part of the reason my mom hates me so much is because I'm a girl, and she wanted a boy. Then she got ill and couldn't 'reproduce' anymore, so she took her grief out on me." Quinn said drily, then smiled slightly. "It could be a lot worse. You're lucky you have me." She joked, then blushed. "You... are very bad at making this easier." She teased, patting Sahara.
