After breakfast, they cleaned everything up and mounted up to head out. Estrella mounted up and started towards their destination. She kept Smokey at a trot, Mya trotting along side her. As Estrella rode along, she heard her phone buzz in her saddle bag. She slowed Smokey to a walk and grabbed her phone. She looked at it and saw it was a text from Jason(her current bf). The text read: Hey, sorry to do this over text, but this isn't working out. I'm breaking up with you. She sat deep in the saddle and Smokey stopped quickly. She turned off her phone and dropped it into her saddle bag. "C'mon Smokey," She nudged the gelding into a gallop. Smokey sprinted across the prairie, tears streamed down Estrella's face, the wind and Smokey's long mane sipping her face. - (I won't be doing much with the cousins or family anymore, feel free to do what ever with them if you want.)

(Yeah, that's a good idea. That's mostly why I added the straying cattle thing... I was thinking that someone decided us two would go. Me because I'm exerperienced and could teach you more.. and you because you wanted to go. Something like that.) - Tyler saw Smokey suddenly stop, then take off. He wondered how exactly he knew the horses name... but told Rum to canter, slowly catching up. He urged his horse into a gallop, wanting to know why Estrella rode away so fast. When he got closer he saw her form... she was slumped, not really paying attention to where she was going.. after these two signs Tyler realized she must be sad about something. He tried to decide whether to speed up and ask he ran about it, running the risk of being mocked, hit, or getting on the permanent enemy list... or slow down and come back... which didn't really have risks, it just wouldn't be helpful. Since he didn't really care if she hated him or not, he sped Rum up more till he was galloping nearer to her. "Hey.. you okay?" He called slowly, waiting for a response.

She heard someone call out to her and looked to her right and saw Tyler. She sat deep in the saddle and pulled back in the reins lightly "woah" she said to Smokey, the gelding sliding to a stop. "No, I'm not okay" she said, trying to sound calm.

Tyler quickly slowed Rum down, looking at Estrella. It was never good news when they actually admitted it... or was it? Tyler didn't really know how to help... he was almost just hoping she said she was okay. "...what happened, if you don't mind me asking?" Tyler tipped his headline, hoping that was an... okay response.

"My boyfriend just broke up with me..." She said, looking down at Smokey's neck. She rubbed the gelding neck. "At least I have you boy" she whispered to Smokey.

Tyler flinched as she said that. He wasn't expecting.. that. Tyler didn't know how to help with that. He cleared his throat, his brows furrowed. "Well... sorry..." he said quietly, glancing around for a way of escape. He heard mooing in the distance. "Sounds like we are nearing the cattle, I'd better go check up there." He said gruffly, urging Rum into a canter and going to look a the giant herd of cattle.

"Okay," She mumbled as he cantered off. The others weren't far behind them. She turned Smokey around and cantered back to the other's. They were close to the cattle now, she could see the herd in the distance

All the horses slowed to a Trot. It was very late, the sun was already starting to set. Tyler knew they would camp there's for the night with the cattle, count heads to make sure there were no stragglers, then move out in the morning. As everyone reached the cattle and started getting off their horses, Tyler called Mitch and Chad. They were two other very experienced cowboys. "Let's count heads while it's still bright enough." Tyler told them, trotting off. Each cowboy would count all the cattle, and if they came up with the same number they were good. Tyler counted... and counted... and counted. It was a strenuous, hard job. After he was done Mitch and Chad came back. - "1,575 heads of cattle sir." Mitch told Tyler. - "1,575 is what I got, Too." Chad announced. - "Good. I got the same amount. Means we are only missing five... we were lucky this year. In the mornin' I'll go out with someone else and round all them up." Tyler muttered, nodding to the two before jumping off Rum and untacking him.

Estrella dismounted and untacked Smokey. She brushed him out and tied him. Dinner was done, so she went and got dinner, then went and sat with Smokey and ate.
