"yeah, maybe we can just get him out and let small groups of kids see him at a time. and maybe if some of the kids are scared of the horses they don't have to see him." he said. He agreed with Ellie, the children needed to see the reason for this whole event. "maybe we can talk about colic protection for horses of something." he said.

"Yes, we can 'Educate' them," She said, her voice hinted with tease, "We can do it once they've all eaten and settled down and eaten. Give them half an hour or so," She decided with a small smile. Once she was finished eating, she leaned back in her chair slightly, watching a couple kids pet some of the ponies over the fence, giving small chuckles and squeaks. She smiled distantly before taking a glance at Sam, "I do think most of them are enjoying themselves, even if they're not riding."

Yep, sounds good." he said, smiling faintly. 'well, they must be, judging by the amount of noise they're making over the ponies." he said. Sam spotted his friends, and waved them over. Their activities with the kids had gone well, they said. after they all chatted a while longer, Sam stood up, dusting off his shirt. "right, should we go see ruin then?"

Ellie gave a slight wave as a hello to Sams friends as they appeared and gave them a welcoming smile. "Yes, lets," She said lightly before standing up and making her way towards the barn. She was a little reluctant to leave the kids because they almost looked like they were wanting to climb on the ponies back, and she didn't want a lawsuit on her hands for some kid hurting themselves, so she simply said for them to be careful before proceeding into the barn again. (i like it, but it needs credits and the nose looks a little too transparent. what program do you use?) - Sam rounded up a group of responsible-looking children and told them they were going to see Ruin, and to be quiet and respectful to the pony. the children all agreed and followed Sam and Ellie into ruins recovery stable. The pony nickered softly to the kids, who very gently pette him, while Sam and Ellie taught them about what colic is in horses and how to prevent it. after that they went out and another group of kids came in, repeating the process. Ruin was loving all the petting, and by the end of the daythey had gone through all the kids.

(Yeah, I'm putting the credits on once I decide what text I want to put on it aha. I use auto desk sketchbook.) They didn't have long until everyone had to go home, so she made sure all the children had all their stuff under one tree so that they could find it easily, then basically gave them free range of the yard, just with the rule that they couldn't wonder off in the forest, at where she smiled a little at Sam, remembering his little mishap with his walk. It was something she wasn't going to let him forget. She had enjoyed her time with the kids, even though they were a little mischievous at times, it reminded her of when she used to go to little thing such as this.

Sa gave Ellie a small, lopsided smile. "so how much did we raise then?" he said. Sam really hoped that the event had payed off, because they had all put so much time and energy into this pony camp. He smiled again, watching the kids playing around, and he remembered whenhe was a child, playing with friends like this, it had been fun...

Ellie shrugged and looked at her phone, she had hundreds of paypal notifications, and a go fund me set up, so there was a little extra from that as well. "Let me have a look..." She whispered as she went through her phone to take a look, adding everything up, "Just over 3k." She murmured taking a look up at him, "And we've got your 1k, and I'll add in another.... So thats 5k. One more to go, and then we have enough," She gave him a smile. They were gaining money quicker than she had expected, but god was she glad about it.

"thats great!" Sam said, a little tired from his day. "but how are we getting the other 1k?" The vet might make them an exeption, but Sam wasnt too sure...the vet was a strong man and if he his work, he wanted his money."i think another one of these days would kill me." he joked.

"We still have a few days to get the money together, and I'm sure we will get a few more hundreds from go fund me but..." She paused trying to think, "We might come up a little short." She finished, looking up at him, slightly worried, though she chuckled ever so slightly at his comment, "Yeah, neither could I, and I'm not too sure I want you dead yet," She teased before going back to her original look or slight worry. "I could sell some old tack, rodeo outfits and all that," She said with a small smile.
