(Do you want to do a tiny skip? Like maybe a day or so until Sage starts to get a bit better?) Luther glared at the apprentice when she came to fetch the boy. He knew what it meant. He had to hold Sage down for the... third? Time that day. "I'm sure there are plenary of guards around to hold him down... he's not exactly strong," he huffed once he was in the ward. He got a bit of a giggle from the apprentice before she walked off, and then was replaced by the doctor. Luther glanced over Sage for a moment before raising a bit of a brow. "He's looking better," he shrugged before pulling a chair next to his bed so he could help to hold him down again.

(yeah I was going to lol) The doctor grunted and nodded at Luther's comment."that's because his immune system can focus on getting better instead of trying to stop the injection from spreading," he muttered. "He'll probably be awake in a day or so," he chuckled. "Then you won't have to be the dead weight I use," he told them not in a rather amused voice before bringing them things over and starting the whole process. He was right, though, the boys eyes finally fluttered open the next evening, and he looked around, visibly confused, before looking at the doctor like he was asking 'why the hell am I back at the castle?' it was rather amusing, but the doctor sorry of explained what had happened. He sent his apprentice to tell Luther and Anya he was awake, as they had asked the day prior. Hopefully, Anya would be a bit more... Happy to see the boy.

Anya and Luther were both sat in the lounge, watching Att play with his toys happily. At some point, Luther had joined in with the boy, so he was on the floor and playing with the little wooden figures. When the apprentice came in, Luther asked the boy to put his toys away. And, he did, though he got a bit grumpy with Luther for it. "He gets that from you," the boy huffed before picking Att up and offering a hand to Anya to help her up. "He's allowed to get being opinionated from me," she chuckled lightly as they started to make their way back towards the ward again. "It's a good thing," she chirped. She looked at Att for a moment before cocking her head. "Do you want him to come with us? Sage might not be in a very good state yet." She noted with a cocked head. "It'll be fine. He might even remember him," Luther chirped lightly as they wandered into the ward again.

The doctor had explained what was going on, but sage was still, admittedly, a bit confused. Luther was the main thing he was confused about...he'd gotten mad, practically kicked him out, and now he had carried him back to the castle? And Anya...shed quite clearly told him she had no feelings for him anymore. She told him she didn't care....so why was he back here? Eventually, the doctor left, so he closed his eyes, trying to think through the pounding in his skull. It still hurt to move, and he didn't really feel like it anyway.

The three of them wandered quietly into the ward, and Luther handed Att to Anya before skipping over to Sages bed peering over him childishly. "Look who's awake?" The boy grinned. Anya shook her head before going to sit down on a chair next to the bed. She wanted to talk to him, but she couldn't quite find the words. It was almost awkward to be honest. She remembered being able to tell him everything, but she didn't even know where to start now. "Luther, sit down. He's not going to want you in his face," the girl hummed gently before patting the seat next to her. She wondered if Sage had anything to say... or if he wanted to. She knew Luther wanted to apologise, but she wasn't sure why she had to be there for that.

Sage opened his eyes to see Luther hovering over him, and he blinked slowly in confusion before Anya told the other boy to go sit down. Eventually, his brain caught up, though, and he grinned up at Luther tiredly. "What happened to get out and don't come back," he asked the boy, though really in a joking manner. "Wasn't expecting you to carry me back here like some sort of rag doll," he said in an amused tone. Then he wrinkled his nose and looked over at Anya. "Unless you carried me over here again. In which case, I might die of broedom before I starve," he hummed. He figured it would be less awkward if he started off with his usual jokes, or at least something light. If he could make the whole situation a joke, then the other two teens might not feel so...well, he didn't know what. Anya had really only helped him because Luther had told her to...but how much did the other boy really care? He seemed friendly enough, but if he messed up again, would he get the same reaction?

Luther gave a bit of giggle in reply... the boy really was still a child. In the last four years, he really hadn't changed, not other than getting bigger. "I over reacted... and now I feel bad so this is my official apology." The boy grinned before shaking his head slightly. "I'm sorry for kicking you out," he hummed with a chuckle. Anya, though, didn't seem so impressed. Instead, she gently held Att close to her on her lap and gently bounced him up and down. "Wait," she started with furrowed brows, "why would you be bored if I brought you back?" She asked with a bit of a pout. "It's not like Luther is anymore exiting," she added with a huff.

Sage chuckled slightly at Luther's apology and grinned sheepishly. "We both over reacted," he admitted. Then he rolled his eyes. "Don't worry, the doctor already lectured me about my hot head messing up friendships. You probably got the same speech," he grumbled, though with a slightly amused tone. Really, the doctor only meant well, he knew that, the man just had some...rough edges. Then he made a face. "Maybe bored was the wrong word for that," he hummed. "Embarrassment is better," he chuckled. Then he huffed out a breath. "If I was allowed out of bed I would be doing a dramatic swoon right about now. I hope you know that." He eyed the doctor, who had come back into the room. The man merely shrugged and tossed an apple at him, muttering something about eating real food because he was tired of using the tube on an unconscious body." Sage blinked, confused, and looked over at Luther. "Do you have any idea what he's talking about," he asked the boy. He didn't remember anything from while he was out, so the doctor's words made absolutely no sense to him. "And how long was I out? When did you bring me here? What exactly is going on?" The doctor had given him a (very) brief explanation, but that didn't mean he understood what had happened.

Luther groaned at the idea of the doctors little speech. "Yeah. He told me I had no friends so I should hold onto you of all people," he joked before bumping Anya's side. "But you're my friend, aren't you Anya?" He asked with a grin. The girl looked at him with a raised brow before chuckling. "I'm about as friendly with you as I am with ladybugs," she joked lightly before going back to playing with Att. She kind of just rolled her eyes at his swooning joke... she'd normally chuckle or tease back or something, but she just couldn't bring herself to do that. She didn't know why she was finding this so hard... maybe it was because she hadn't seen him in a while, and she might have been a bit nervous of him, or maybe it was because Luther was around. She didn't have a clue, but she just felt... weird. She glanced back up when he asked what was going on... and she could definitely answer that one. "You've been out for a couple of days," she stared softly. "Att actually found you," she murmured and she poked the child's belly, which made him squeal. She smiled slightly, trying to find a way for it not to sound so scary while the child was there. "You weren't well, so I went back to you and got a room in the tavern. For some reason I couldn't leave you there, so Luther brought you back. Now you're here, I suppose," she summed up a before glancing back up to the boy and giving a little smile. Luther wrinkled his nose at the doctor. "He means we had to shove a tube down your throat to feed you," he groaned. "And I had to help, so you can absolutely eat yourself now," he huffed in complaint.

Sage chuckled and nodded. "He pretty much told me the same thing." He chuckled at Anya's little joke, though it saddened him to see she'd responded to Luther's teasing but not his. Well, he shouldn't be surprised....he doubted he'd be spending much time with the girl from now on. He smiled over at Att and nodded. "I remember that much," he hummed. The child seemed wonderful...but it didn't seem like he remembered him. He supposed he was only a baby when he'd left, so really he couldn't blame the boy. Anya not recognizing him was a bit worse. Though, he was covered in mud and hiding in a shadow, and he probably looked centuries older. When Luther mentioned shoving a tube down his throat to feed him, he winced slightly. "Yeah, I think i'd better eat the apple," he half joked. Feeling that while awake definitely wasn't something he was keen on doing. Then he cocked his head. "Why'd you help the doctor? I have a feeling it wasn't something you volunteered for willingly," he noted, slightly amused by the whole thing.
