Ben pulled back and looked into her eyes, hands still on her shoulders. "Emma. Please. I'd never do that. Trust me." He felt his chest grow hot with tears, but he stuffed them back down. They wouldn't help right now. |

She nodded again. "You're the only person I do trust, Ben" |

Ben gave a small sigh of relief, and he calmed. "Thank you." |

She cuddled into his embrace instinctively |

Ben smiled and lingered for a moment before asking, "I've still gotta finish lungeing the rest, see you later?" He turned to head back to the barn, hoping to avoid seeing Summer again. |

She nodded and headed to the house. Summer was angry beyond belief, hurrying after Ben. "Excuse me, but what was that?!" She exclaimed, gesturing to the house. "You don't get to hug other girls!" |

Ben turned to her sharply, face fiery. "I can do what I want, thank you very much! You can't tell me what I don't get to do!" |

"You don't get her! You get me!" She yelled, crossing her arms. Emma looked out the windows momentarily, face fearful but mostly blank. The men in the living room laughed, the sound echoing throughout the house and making Emma yelp in surprise. She dropped the curtain as a guy looked at her with a smirk. "Scare ya, sugar?" He chuckled |
