Lorelei smiled in her sleep, still very much asleep. She started murmuring, dreaming, "...Kai... mm... kai..." she murmured softly. (I hafta write this down rn tho so I won't forget lol. So she starts volunteering at a library or something, but one of her coworker is super weird and hits on her. One day, this guy texts her, asking her out, even though he knows shes married. Kai sees the text and gets super angry with her, thinking she cheated on him. He doesn't believe her when she tried to explain and breaks his wedding band in half. Kai goes for a drive to clear his head, leaving Lorelei heartbroken. She packs up her things but leaves her wedding rings and her phone for him to have. She runs away, ending up in a hotel a few towns over. Kai reads the texts between Lorelei and the guy and instantly knows he really fucked up.) |
