Luca smiled, lifting his hand and gently brushing away a loose strand of her hair out of her face and behind her ear. "Feeling better?" |

Laurel gave a small shrug and a nod, smiling as he brushed away her hair. "For the most part. I still worry, of course, but I'm not so sure there will be a day where I don't. But still, I am much improved from yesterday." |

Luca nodded. "Well, if you ever need anything, a distraction, someone to talk too, anything, you can always come to me," |

Laurel smiled, her expression softening at his words. She shifted her position so that she could hug him, her arms wrapping around him in a gentle but firm hug as she whispered into his ear. "Thank you, Luca. Truly.." she murmured before pulling away slightly. |

Luca smiled and hugged her back, "Of course, darling," |

Laurel relaxed, savoring his touch for a little while longer. She knew she shouldn't, but it was so nice to feel so cared for. |

Laurel stayed like that for a while, deciding that she probably wouldn't move until he moved first. |

Luca just held her for as long as she needed, letting her get her rest. |

The longer Laurel lay there, the more she realized just how deep she was in with Luca. She shifted to look up at him, her hand caressing his face. She didn't say much of anything, simply content to lay there and adore him. |
