Camery Valatieri - Camery fell asleep, although it was fitful and... scary. All she could see was Malakai standing over her, those god awful wings spread out menacingly. It was terrifying. She couldn't find a way to love him like that. He'd lied to her, and she couldn't forgive him for that. Maybe if he told her sooner or in a different way... she didn't know. All she knew was that she was terrified. Terrified he'd come back through that balcony, back into her home. She didn't even know how he could still claim to love her when she didn't even know him. She woke up quickly when she dreamed him leaning in, his hands reaching for her neck aggressively. She sighed and got out of bed, looking over at Jack who looked exhausted but alert. She thanked him again for staying with her... she would always trust him to keep a keen eye on her. She couldn't dismiss him yet... not until she was closer to the guards. She got changed quickly, going to sit in the dining hall again. She felt safe there. No windows, two doors... surrounded by people she trusted. Her mother walked in, looking exhausted as ever. Camery sighed and offered a sheepish smile. "What's happening?" She asked gently. Her mother looked at her, patting her head as though she was some sort of pet. The touch was soft, comforting... it was clearly something she needed right then. "Your father has gone over with his knights - he's going to talk to their king," she told her, her voice soft. "Camery, this isn't okay... they could have really hurt you," she whispered. Camery nodded gently, her her face drawn. They'd been so close to her... she didn't even gauge how much danger she was in.

Camery Valatieri - Camery sat deathly still in the chair, her eyes puffy and admittedly shaken up. She didn't know what to do with herself. She wanted her boyfriend, she wanted him to hold onto her and never let her go, but Malakai wasn't her boyfriend. He was a spy. He was there to steal intelligence, get close to her, and he'd done just that. There were rules in place for a reason, ones that state you can't get too close to workers, and that they weren't to try and get close to any reason, but she had. She tried to get closer to him, she'd let it happen. - Camerys Father, King Lou, marched his way down to the night kingdom. They were going at speed, arriving about midday on a trip that would normally take at least a day or so. This was serious - and the fury was written across his face. Anger coursed through him, lighting up his veins. His bright green eyes shone with distance, and even more so when he was presented with nothing but a boy. A child. He stared down at him, his dark brows pinching together and showing the wrinkles that could only come with experience. "Is this a joke?" He growled, his deep frown harsh on his normally friendly face. "I need to speak to the king," he muttered. His guards stood close, ready to brandish their swords if need be. His voice was grouff, a growl lacing through it. He didn't mention his daughter - admitting she'd messed up would only drive them on. Let them know the Day Kingdoms heir was soft at heart. That in a matter of years, they'd have every means to attack. He wouldn't put her in that situation if he could help it. When he insisted he should be spoken to, his shoulders stiffened. "Are you aware of your fathers schemes," he started, lifting his nose and looking down at him bitterly. "The ones to infiltrate our home, take out our only heir?" He voiced seemed to bellow across the room, though softened slightly at the idea of the loss of his daughter.

Camery Valatieri - Lou stared at the man as he spoke... it all sounded. Like excuses. Well, that was until he clocked whet excafrly he meant . He loved her? The princess? His daughter. He watched him, covered in tattoos hand those disgusting leathery wings. He was awful. eventually, though, he clocked it. It was him. He was the bodyguard, the one his daughter had been so torn up over, the one had had broken into his shoulder and tried to chest his way into information. Anger burned into him, but his voice remained easy. "Pitiful child," he muttered under his breath, standing up and staring over at him. "How dare you make a claim to love my daughter," he growled. "How dare you come into our home, our kingdom, with the promise to protect the princess," he went on, and on... but his words still echoed in his mind. Those lash marks on his back. What he'd about the king, his own father. "You said nothing?" He muttered in a hushed tone, glancing around before looking right back at him. He sat up, his mind wandering. "Tell me, child, where is the king," he repreated.

Lou clenched his jaw as he spoke. That was not just about the danger he'd put his daughter in - it was the fact he'd lied from the start, until he was just about ready to leave. He wanted to fulfil his mission. "You? You are nothing but a pawn. You don't love anything," he muttered. His loyalty was to his father, as it should be, but his father also happened to be king. A dangerous, unstable king. One he wanted nothing to do with. Though, when he mentioned his father being sick, he couldn't help but relax, just a tiny bit... it was a bit of a relief. The man had done nothing but torment his life, his kingdom, day after day, only now... there were three of his children ready to take that spot in life.

Lou stared at the boy for a moment, his eyes pericing through him and his shoulders squaring up. He was on edge, tense at the idea of this child being the opposers. He didn't trust a word of what was being said - didn't see any truth in the child's eyes. Didn't trust him, not one bit. A rumble came from this throat, anger coursing through him. "If one more word leaves your mouth about my daughter," he paused for a moment, deciding threats were not the way to go about this. He rolled his eyes, for a moment becoming the spitting image of his beloved Camery. "We don't want conflict," he breathed, his brows pinching together. "But this is one step too far," he growled as he stood up, his nose about eye height of the boy he stood across from. He had infiltrated their castle. Lied his way in, and convinced Camery to trust him. "She had every right to come to me, and this doesn't end here for you," he muttered. If the current king was dying, this was the future king. And he'd just made one big mistake. He pushed his chair out, carrying himself tall as he tucked it back under. He would leave. He didn't have one good thing to say - and a sob story meant nothing to him. The anger had vanished, and instead the will to put an end to the current line of the Night Kingdom replaced it. He waved a hand, gesturing for his knights to follow him out. They'd start preparing their army as soon as they could.
