"How will a lighter and sage help?" She asked. She looked up at Cade, her nose brushing against his jawline. Rascal jumped out of her arms and pounced on a leaf. Saphire giggled, her eyes still on Cade.

Cade shrugged. "It'll kill them."

Saphire gasped. "You but... why?" She shook her head, sitting back a little so she could see him better. "Why kill them?" Deep in her heart she had an undying loyalty to Lucifer and his army, but that was VERY deep. The longer she spent with Cade the further down that feeling went. She gave an impish smile. "I think it'll be a good idea... I'll need to be in my human form so it doesn't hurt me. I can still sense them, it's just harder to see them. " she put her hand in Cade's chest. "I'm going to try to shift into my human form... "I'll be right back" she managed to pull herself to a tree and sit behind it. Her breathing was ragged and she closed her eyes, focusing hard on her transformation. It was gainful because she wasn't fully healed, but after a few minutes she was in her human form. She had to crawl out from behind the tree. "Ok..." she whispered, her voice unsteady. "This is the part where I collapse" she laid down on ten grass and dosed off almost instantly. Rascal laid on her back

Cade laughed to himself and rolled his eyes fondly. All there was to do was wait for something to happen.

Her wings had fully disappeared by the time she woke up again. Rascal had made his way around to a patch of grass and was rolling around. She sat up, stretching. The shirt, still ripped from the days before, let a breeze in and she crossed her arms. The breeze was relentless, but then it hit her. "Cade. Cade get your lighter. Hurry. They're coming"

Cade woke up and looked at Rascal and Saphire playing. Then Saphire told Cade. Cade nodded, grabbing his lighter and bundle of sage. He held his lighter, ready for when the demons showed up. He couldn't see them but he knew that Spahire could and as long as he had someone to guide him, he could kill the demons.

The cold feeling that went up her spine was stronger than it was the day before, which meant there were more of them. She could see small glimpses of them in the distance. "There's so many!" Her body went cold at the sight of Scout leading the entire army. His hand went up and the entire army fell silent as they dropped to the ground and stopped in their tracks. "Well well well" Scout stepped forward, his smile evil. "What do you want Scout" she asked angrily. "I just want your soul. After that you can live here with your friend and we can all live happily ever after. " Saphire winced "I'm not being tricked into living in hell. I'm not going to suffer forever in the fire when I could be scarred for life by watching them suffer." She stepped infront of Cade. "Leave us alone" Scout laughed and grabbed her arm, pulling her toward the other demons. "Cade! Help!" She screamed

Cad wasted no time, he lit the lighter and ignited the sage. He ran with the burning sage, running over to where Saphire was. He began to mutter stuff, mostly about getting the demons to leave. He had Rascal behind him, growling at the invisable army. Cade hoped that the burning sage would kill them, and get rid of them, for good.

Saphire shrieked at the heat, her body hiding behind Cades at the screaming of the demons. Their bodies seemed to shrivel up as others tried to fly away. In the end, not a single one survived. Saphire fell to the ground, the intensity of the sage grtting to her demonic side and making her shiver. "I- I can't-" her breathing was raspy as she gasped for air. "Wat- water" she was able to get the words out before she grabbed her throat and closed her eyes, willing herself to breath.

Cade laughed, he had done it. He had killed them. He looked down at Saphire and his face dropped. He quickley blew out the sage and dropped it. He carried her in his arms till they reached a nearby stream. Cade held her and watched her desperetly drink water.
