She smiled. "Ahem, you mean I will be finding a medbay. You need to rest. Pairs for tomorrow sounds good- Ill go see what I can find. And YOU will be doing your best not to destroy your arm more than you already have." She moved Dutch off her lap gently, leaning down to give him a kiss on the head. She gave him an extra pat and moved toward the door. "Be good." She said, directing it mainly toward Luke. "I'll be back soon." She ducked out of the room and shut the door behind her, walking on down the hall. Skip to Mercy getting hella wasted?)) Edited at June 29, 2023 03:40 PM by Widow Valley Farms

Mercy had found the Medbay relatively quickly. They had a pretty large amount of medical supplies, since no one really got hurt around there. And the only thing that could cure hunger was... food. She grabbed a bottle of moderate painkillers, since anything more would affect him a bit too seriously. After that, she had been planning on heading back to the room. But she decided to explore just a bit more, since she had essentially just left. She found herself in the one place in the bunker that was dimly lit, and instead of mainly themed in white, was... dingy. The walls were painted what was supposed to be an upscale olive color, but the raggedy furniture all around said otherwise. There were scuffs and dartboards on the wall. A couple of... interesting pictures. A pool table. Multiple tables all around. There was also a bar taking up most of a short side of the room, tended by an older rough looking man. It was also the only place that seemed like many people were in at once. It was a mix of a questionable sort of people, to some sixteen year olds, to some people who you just knew were old. It all screamed 'If you want to keep your sobreity and all your fingers, leave.' But Mercy was too curious at that point, walking over to settle in at one of the bar seats. Before she knew it, a few people started buying her drinks. Like, a lot of drinks. So she drank them, trying to be polite, and GOD was that alcohol disgusting. After about 7 of the mysterious things, Mercy was verifiably WASTED. She was giggling with a man around her age, he had copper colored hair and Mercy was basically fawning over him in her drunkenness. The man started to lead her off, slowly, with Mercy following easily. "Hold on- wait-." She paused, and the man looked at her anxiously. "I was- I was gonna do... there was something I had to do. Do you know what I had to do?" She tilted her head at the man, her words slurred and her eyes showing her a slightly fuzzy rendition of the world around her. Luke had dozed off a bit, sitting up in the bed with his left hand on Dutch, who was on his lap. He blinked himself awake. it was like three in the morning. And he hadn't thought it was that late when they got in. Right? He yawned and gently pulled his legs out from under Dutch. He wanted to follow but it was a new place. And the middle of the night. He was just a bit protective of Dutch in a new place. By that he meant very. He left Dutch in there and glanced around, following the opposite way they had come from. He passed the medbay, she'd definitely have found it by now but he wanted to find her. He searched through quite a bit, no Mercy. Though the place was nice. Then he came up to a bar-type place, aaaand there she was. Clearly too many drinks into the night to be left alone. And she was with a man. Interesting. He walked up, placing his right hand on her shoulder softly. "Hey, uh, Mercy," He nodded at the man and took her hand with his left, clearly intending to walk away with her.

The man braced himself, holding onto Mercy's other hand. Mercy turned to look at Luke and her face lit up. "Luke! Hi, Luke!" She grinned giddily. "I was looking for you! Uhm- well- I think I was? I don't know, but I met this guy!" She turned to face the other man, who was gently trying to tug her away. "Uhm, whats your name again? Im sorry, I uh- I forgot." She giggled. The man looked up at Luke, likely seeing a losing battle when he saw one. M "God damn.." He turned, letting go of her and slinking off into the shadows of the bar. Mercy shrugged. "I don't know whats wrong with him, but anyway." She stumbled closer to him, tilting her head up at him. "You want a drink? They're, like, really nasty, but people kept buying them for me, so. I should get you one! Come on, lets go." She giggled, trying to tug him toward the bar.

Luke gave the man a very aggressive look, something with a stink eye, lowered eyebrows and a clenched jaw. But when he looked at Mercy it turned brighter. He said in a passive tone to the man. "Do you mind letting go?" A vehement look on his face probably told him that tonight was not going to go well for him if he tried anything. He stared at the man as he walked away, then brightened his look more as he turned to Mercy. "Noo I don't think so, Dutch misses you, yknow? Weee should get out of here." He said woth an excitable look like he was talking to a child. She still had her bag so they wouldn't be missing anything. He gently pulled her hand toward the door.

"But, Luke-" She huffed and walked with him, tripping over her own feet a few times. "Okay." She said, squeezing his hand gently. "I think I miss Dutch too." She nodded seriously. "Oh! I got the painkillers for you." She said brightly, looking up at him with something that seemed a little bit like awe as they walked into the hallway. "Luke!" She exclaimed, as if she were surprised, tilting her head at him and stopping.

He nodded, it might have been worse than a child now that he thought about it. "Good good, painkillers were what we were after yeah?" He said approvingly. Then she stopped and called his name. He looked at her really concernedly until he saw the look on her face. "I know right? It's so clean isn't it!" He nodded. "Come on, Dutch is waittting." He urged them on toward their room, following the numbers mainly.

She paused, still looking at him. She walked with him though. "Wait no, Luke." She said, a bit confused, still slurring her words a bit. It seemed better now that they were in the bright hallway, which was honestly giving her a bit of a headache. She kept walking with him, mainly watching his face and blinking, as if she were really putting the three braincells that were in her mind at the moment to work.

He smiled back at her every so often til they came to 147. He walked in and shut the door behind the both. He brought her to the bed, took the bag and gave Dutch to her. He started harassing her with love. "You should get some rest, Mercy. Probably gonna be one hell of a hangover." He walked over and sat on the couch and figured out what was in the bag. Fresh bandages, painkillers, antibiotics and disinfectant pads. At least she wasn't drunk when she found this. He looked at her, hopefully she would go to sleep soon.
