He leaned forward into her kiss before nodding his head "Okay see you later" He called to her as she left out of the room. Once she did he sighed heavily then walked out of the room as well deciding to just go on a stroll around the castle. At first he thought that he knew exactly where he was going but after abut 20 minutes he go twisted around and lost in the castle grounds. He wandered around like a lost puppy just trying to find a place that was familiar

She ended up being gone for about 30 minutes, returning to her room to find Kennedy gone. She shrugged and changed into an emerald green, silky blouse and a black, form fitting skirt. May as well stick with the green theme, right? She trotted down the steps outside her room. She figured he wouldnt really waste time trying to find his way around the castle, so she headed outside. She slipped outside and wandered to the places she knew he was familiar with, finding him in none of them. "Kennedy?" She called lightly.

He continued to wander around the castle, when he went down a flight of steps he finally recognized where he was, well hopefully he did. As he continued to walk down a hall he thought was familiar he heard Mercys voice call out for him. Kennedy smiled slightly and followed where he thought the voice came from, when he rounded a cornor her saw Mercy standing in a hall. He quietly sneaked up behind her, when he got up to her, he pounced on her from behind and wrapped his arms around her neck "Boo!" He roared out at first then it fell into a fit of laughter

"Kenned- AEK!" She yelped, turning to see him. She grinned, giving him a playful shove backwards. "You scared me!" She laughed, shaking her head. She walked over to him and wrapped her arms around him, pouting up at him dramatically. "You spooked meeee!"

Kennedy stumbled backwards slightly at her shove, he clutched his stomach in a fit of laughter. "I know I did" He admitted through giggles before trying to calm down. When she walked over he gave her a cheeky smile and wrapped his arms around her as well "I'm sorryyy but it was the perfect opportunity" He mused with a bit of a whine

She huffed at him moodily. "Weeeellllll I was going to ask you something, but apparently you don't wanna know, cause you scared me." She said, pulling away from him and crossing her arms, turning her back to him sarcastically.

His mouth dropped open slightly in dramatic shock "What?! Nooo tell me" He pleaded walking up behind her and leaning over her "Pleaseeee Mercy, I'm sorry for scaring you" He pleaded once more with a slight whine before walking to the front of her and crouched a bit to be eye level with her and gave her the most dramatic pout ever

She glared at him and sighed sarcastically. "Fine, I guess I'll ask you." She stepped closer to him and wrapped her arms around him, so they were almost nose to nose. "How would you like to come to the banquet with me?" She tilted her head at him and batted her eyelashes., as if she might have to bribe him to come.

He grinned in a small vicotry as she finally gave in, he leaned into her arms trying to be as close to her as possible but not super close. At her question he kind of blink his eyes slowly then tilted his own head "Depends on what will be happening at this banquet" He mused to her, yes he did want to go but in all seriousness he had no clue what a banquet was or what it consited of

"Ah, well. A banquet is basically a fancy word for when a bunch of hoity-toity people get together and talk about how wonderful they are. But! The food is decent and there's a danceeee floor." She said, doing her best to be convincing.
