Alexa sensed him flinch, "I am sorry" she said, and moved away from him, now she felt bad, making jokes, maybe she should stop making jokes

Tyler glanced over. "It's okay... that's just not my favorite subject." He said quietly, turning back so it didn't seem like he was mad at her.

Alexa sucked in a breath and walked away

Tyler winced. Oops. He watched Alexa walk off, feeling bad. He just didn't feel comfortable talking about that... but she was joking... and he probably should have gone a little easier... I tried harder to not make her mad...

Alexa walked up the dungeon stairs, she stretched and yawned, maybe back to bed was the best option

Tyler followed silently, staying a little ways behind Alexa. Now he felt bad... darn it.

Alexa made her way back to her room, she walked inside and saw the hole, and somebody standing beside it, her eyes trailed up, and she saw her father, oh crap

Tyler saw Alexa's father and froze, backing up slightly so her father could not see him. He slowed his breathing and quieted it till it was like he wasn't there, then he went and stood in a shadow. With any luck... the king wouldn't even see him.

"Um, hi dad" Alexa said stepping into her room, eyeing the hole, "what are you doing here?" She asked awkwardly, her fathers frozen gaze flicked to her, "where is your bodyguard?" He asked, "oh he is around here, somewhere" her father looked at her bluntly, "and the hole?" He asked, "well that, um it sorta just happened"

Tyler stepped silently out from BEHIND the king. Somehow he had gotten into the room without either of them seeing. "I'm right here." Tyler said quietly, sidestepping so he was facing the smaller man.
