she looked over at the thud as the apple core hit the bottom of the trashcan. "what was that?" she asked, her eyes fixed on the can. she could feel Micah running his fingers through her red hair

"Just the apple core," he says, "I teleported it into the trash can. Nothing to worry about." He continued to run his hand through her hair and closed his eyes as he relaxed.

she gave a grateful sigh and relaxed, laying her head back against his chest

"You seem jumpy," he says as he continues to run his hand through her red hair, "is something wrong?"

"nope" she said with a smile, putting her hand on his leg

"Alright," he says and looks down at her hand on his leg, but still continued to run a hand through her hair.

Abby grinned and listened as the distinct jingle of keys arived at the front door: Darcy was back. "great" she muttered, rolling her eyes as she remembered the whole phone thing

He looked towards the door as he heard footsteps and keys jingling. "Let me guess," he says, "is it Darcy?"

she nodded then pretended to be asleep as Darcy walked in, setting her purse down and glancing at the TV. she took one look at Abby and gave a slient wave to Micah before grabbing her purse and walking into her room

He watched as Abby "fell asleep" and looked at Darcy as she walked in. He waved back at her and watched as she walked to her room.
