Widows head whipped in the direction of the herd "no thanks" he said quickly with a swish of his tail. At Amiras question he stifled a laugh she had never been outside of herd territory besides when the herd was moving. "Follow me" he said turning a trotting through the woods his hooves thumping lightly as he hopped over branches and stumps with natural ease. Every once in a while he would stop and turn to let her catch up to him. After about 30 minutes of weaving through bushes and thorns the sound of rushing water filled the equines ears "over here" widow yelled u over his shoulder to the mare before grunting and taking a massive leap from a standstill over a huge thorn bush. He landed on the other side and trotted out of the way to wait for Amira. His legs where scrapped and muddy from all that trotting through the woods staining his white limps a greenish brown color.

(I'm HEREEEEEEEEEE) Amira chuckled at the quick responce she got from Widow, taking one last look in the herds direction, just hearing muffled voices. She looked back at him eagerly, flicking her ears and swishing her tails at flies. When he told her to follow him she nodded with a smile "Yessir" Picking up a trot and following behind, a slower trot. When the mare realised Widow would slow down so she could catch up she apolagized and sped up a little to try and stay closer behind the stallion. As they traveled through the woods she carefully placed her hooves as she went along, taking in new smells, brown orbs either on Widow or scanning the area, soon enough the gushing sound of water filled her ears, she stopped behind him "Ok, you go first since you're in front" She suggested. After Widow leaped over the thorns Amira took a few steps back then trotted up to it, taking a small leap she followed through effortlessly, landing with a light thud then quickly locating the paint "Good job!" She encouraged with a softer smile before walking towards the stream, she stopped and looked back at the stallion "Well, in ya go" She told him with a laugh, then lowering her head and slurping at the water

Widow snorted in laughter as Amira congratulated him on jumping the bush "not my first rodeo sweetheart" he teased rearing up and hopping into the water splashing it everywhere. He waded in about stomach deep the water making his coat darken. He used his nose to splash water on the pintos face. He went to step up and lost his footing on the slick rocks slipping slightly. With a surprised grunt he thrust his front legs out in front of him so he wouldn't fall splashing more water everywhere with the sickening sound of hooves against wet rock. "Holy-" he started to say as a wave of water crashed into him. A bison had trod into the water upsteam almost knocking widow over. "It's slick watch your footing" the painted buckskin warned walking back onto land and giving his coat a violent shake.

Amira's ears went back in defiance "Ok fine no more good jobs for you" She teased back pawing the ground. After drinking a bit she shook her head from the water Widow was splashing everywhere "Hey watch it I'm clean I don't need to go in" She exclaimed stepping back, she couldn't help a laugh escaping as he slid in the water and flailed "Oh my...." She muttered to herself, ears flicking at the warning as he passed her "Well uhh- Thank you, I'll be careful" She spoke calmly slowly edging in, slowly moving her feet and placing them lightly to find a safe spot to stand, the water touching the bottom of her stomach she knelt a little to soak her coat to cool down, dunked her head under then slowly got out doing a full body shake, her fur getting a bit fluffy "That wasn't so bad, well because I knew what I was in for, thanks Mr noble sacrifice" She giggled shaking again to get rid of the access water

The painted stallion stifled a laugh at the mares words "no problem your highness" he tossed his long mane dipping his head in a faux bow. With a snort widow scanned the woods "let's follow the river upstream till we find a nice spot to rest for the night" he suggested swiveling his ears as he watched Amira shake her fluffy coat out. His blue eyes wondered to the mare no matter how much he tried to avoid it, she really was stunning with nice long legs sturdy flat knees slanted shoulders and powerful muscled back legs perfect for jumping and running. He tossed his head trying to ride the thoughts from his head {stop checking her out widow be serious for once} he thought to himself before prancing sideways to try and look at the terrain ahead. "Ide make sure to watch your footing though. Ghost used to hound us on watching for gofer holes they'll break your legs if your not careful" the pearly buckskin extended his neck in attempt to look through the bushes.

Amira raised her head high and closed her eyes trying to look elegant "Mmm Your highness? I like that" She spoke putting on a posh voice, she overlooked his coat, for a minute but didn't want to be caught staring so she looked at the river instead. When the pearl buckskin spoke she looked at him then up the river, nodding "Yeah, good idea it'll be getting dark soon, hopefully there's a good spot where the moon hits the water and lights up the area so it's not too dark" She agreed, Amira started walking next to Widow, arching her neck and glueing her eyes to the ground for Golfer holes "Yeah I don't think I need a broken leg.." She said dramatically with a snort, walking between Widow and the water, occasionally glancing at him
