Josef smirked, locking the door behind her. "That's exactly what I thought," He mused, seeing the time and deciding it was a good opprotunity to take a shower. The man was curious to if the building even had water out of the faucets which, to his surprise, they did. "Sweet, get to take a shower too.'' The man murmured, grabbing some clean clothes.

Sadie trekked for the woods for a few minutes before finding a tree with a nook that was comfortable to lie in. She made sure her back was secure up with her so no animal could rummage through it and settled the rest of her things in. There were still a few hours until sunset, and she wasn't sure what to do until then. The familiar weight of her camera reminded her why she was here in the first place, and in her position in the tree, began snapping photos of the nature around her. Josef came out a few minutes later, digging through drawers and cabinets in seach of food as his stomach rumbled with hunger. He wasn't one to eat much, even just a banana or granola bar enough to last all day. After finding nothing, he shrugged, figuring it was just another day and walking back into the bedroom. Seeing a bookshelf, he picked out one with a dark blue spine and silver lettering.

The photography calmed Sadie immensely, and soon she jumped down from the tree to find something to eat for dinner. It occured to her that there could be some wild fruit growing somewhere, so she began looking. After only a few minutes, she found a blackberry patch and collected as many of the fruits as she could, filling her pockets with the sweet black things.

The book eased Josef's panic, though worry still crept into his mind here and there. What if he never made it back home? Never saw his friends again, his coworkers, his family, all gone. And him? They'd probably forget, come up with some excuse of why he never came back. 'Oh he went missing, never did find him unfortuately.' Unfortunately? He was sure his family would be glad to get rid of him, fortunately.

Sadie finished her meal of blackberries and realized she was thirsty. Like, really thirsty. She found her backpack and grabbed her water bottle, taking a few gulps. Then it dawned on her that she should save her water in case the short guy wasn't going to let her into the cabin. Hopefully it had running water at all. She sighed and settled back into her tree, looking up at the branches, frustrated.

He thought back to the woman from earlier, dang she was hot. -What in san diaos? Why am I thinking that.- Josef thought, rubbing his temple as he put the book away, looking around the cabin to see what else was there. The man found canned food and figured he could live off it for a while, a dreading exhaustion washing over him as he slipped under the covers of the bed and drifted off.

Sadie found herself getting angry. Why didn't he just let her in? He looked like he was better equipped for forest survival than she was. But no, he decided to be selfish and not even let her refill her water bottle. Not like she'd asked. But it would've been nice of him. Her mind worked to think of a good explanation and finally came up with something. She would go back to the cabin in the morning and ask him again to let her in. If he refused then she'd have to make some kind of deal. But before that, sleep. Sadie adjusted her position and slowly drifted off, the sounds of the nighttime forest creatures lulling her.

Josef awoke to a spider the side of his head beside him, a yelp tearing out of him as he grabbed a cast iron skillet off the nearest table and smacked the spider with it, the bug skittering toward him. The man darted away, opening the door and chasing it out before shutting the door and locking the door back. "Okay, just a spider the size of my head. Totally normal. Yeah. . ." He muttered, realizing he was still gripping the cast iron before setting it down, returning back to slip back under the sheets.

Sadie slept surprisingly well. The stress of the day must've gotten to her. She woke up with the creatures of the forest, as soon as the sun broke the horizon. She yawned and clambered down from the tree to stretch her stiff legs.
