Sage listened to her talk before chuckling and shaking his head. "Good to know," he mused as she listed off who not to date. "I grew up in Croatia, mostly," he added, responding to her comment. It was a pretty common question, given the fact that he had a pretty noticable accent and didnt look like he was really from around here. He nodded happily when she said they could walk together, and he gave her a wide grin. "That would be great," he agreed. "I'll wander down here in the mornings and meet you," he added before wandering to his own house, which was literally right next to hers. He hoped he saw her often....he did like her. She was friendly. Nice.

She decided to invite him over. A little kid move, sure, but she would be alone until late tonight. Sha hated those nights, when her brother wouldn't be back with his family until at least 11pm. She sighed and put on some tennis shoes. She walked over to where she had heard him go in, and knocked on the door. "Sage?" She called.

Sage had moved to do homework, and had finished maybe half an our or so before he heard the knock on the door. He wandered over to open it, and was surprised to see the girl there. "What's up," he chirped, admittedly glad to see her. "You can come in if you want, I was just looking to find a movie to watch or something" he added, shifting so she could come in if she did want to. His dad was gone on a trip with some of his buddies, so they'd be safe and all that. A drunken lunatic wouldn't just come barging in or anything.

"Sure!" She said, stepping in. "Need any help with homework or anything?" She asked, following him. She looked around the house. It was nearly identicle to hers, and had the same wall color. "My brother is working late, so I was wondering if you wanted to, y'know, hang out?"

Sage let her in and then shut the door with a quick shale of his head. "I got it all done already," he noted lightly. "My dad's off on some trip with his buddies, and my stepmom's doing something in Paris," he explained with a shrug. "So why not," he added lightly. "We could throw a movie on or something, if you want?" He didn't know what she wanted to do, but he'd be fine with pretty much anything.

"Yeah, a movie sounds good." She said, brushing his hand nonchalantly, "I don't do horror movies, just warning you. We can watch one if you're okay with me getting.....close to you....." She said.

Sage sort of shrugged and waved her over to the couch. "Oh, I don't care," he admitted, grabbing the remote. "What sort of things do you like," he asked, flicking through the movies that immedietly popped up. He'd settled himself down close to her, not minding her getting close if she did. "Who are you dating then," he mused after a moment or so, just trying to get at casual conversation. And....he was sort of curious.

She sat next to him on the couch. "I don't really care what we watch. I don't have favorites." She answered. Her face blanched when he asked her who she was dating, "Nobody right now. I had a bad experiance in the past..."

Sage nodded and flicked through some more before settling on soemthing pretty generic that they'd both probably like. "Really," he noted with surprise. "You seem like someone everyone would want to get close with," he admitted. He frowned when she mentioned having a bad experience, and nodded. "Me too," he admitted. "I'm just waiting to find someone I know I can trust, I guess," he msued with a shrug.

She put her hand on his chest and leaned up against him. "I never thought you would be mistrusting." She joked, obviously looking him up and down. She looked up at him, smiling. She stared for a moment, contemplating. She quickly kissed him, cathcing him by surprise. She looked him in the eyes for a moment before snuggling up next to him again.
