Sam, Aw I love Game of Thrones, although the first few season are better than the last couple. The books (A song of ice and fire) are a favourite of mine!

No worries at all, lol! I also took some time to understand recessive genes when I first started. Genetics was a big learning curve and I don't even know all there is to it xD

Turkey, Mushroom is only in PONs and SH at the moment, and will be in ISH in a few months with breeding.

It is also recessive, so MuMu means no mushroom while mumu would be homo mushroom

Going to mess around with mushrooms a bit on my side. My jumpers may eventually have it on my main but unlikely for ages.

No problem, Starbound! There are also some guides in the forums that explain it in better detail, such as which weeks are important and so on. I wish you lots of luck on the 1st :D

Oh no, I totally agree with you about geldings having no real benefits except for being an income... and thanks for explaining to me how to match a horse properly, since the 1st will be my 1st-ever matching.

Yes, its usually done so you can match horses with each other for breeding. If your horse has a certain weakness, you want to breed it with a horse who is strong in that trait. It's not that it's bad to track geldings or anything like that, it's just a extra work for little to no benefit. Thats how I see it at least.

Okay, I thought that’s what happens when it comes to RO, since I've been reading the chat off and on for months, but never actually joining until yesterday, and from what you're saying, it sounds like people prefer not to track their gelding's training, and that it's only used more towards mares and stallions that you plan on using for breeding?

You are right that stuff resets on the 1st of every month. Horses age and can breed again. It's often referred to as RO (roll over).
I'm not as sure about the first question, since I don't track gelding training. But it's true that all born foals start with 1 bar in each stat (wild horses are caught with 3 bars in each). An ungelded PEP wouldn't normally have 5/6 up week 4, but gelding them makes them train faster, so I'd think that checks out :)

Can someone help me determine this gelding's training? I bought him yesterday with a week 4 of 212222, and I heard that all foals start with 1 bar, so would his week 4 be 212222, or is what I was told incorrect?

Also, I was told that all breeding resets on the 1st of every month. Is that also true?

Jasper was the brother of the lead stallion in his herd. He had some control over the horses in it and relished the opportunities to boss horses around. He was doing that now, in the morning of a warm summer day. The horse he was bossing was a stallion named Storm (a random name I just made up XD), who had a beautifully pure black coat. Jasper envied it, and that was one reason he liked being respected by Storm.
-
"Hiya, Storm. Nice day, huh?" Jasper asked, looking up at the light-blue sky. "Yeah," Storm replied, glancing up as well. "Hey," Jasper said, looking back down at Storm. "That looks like a good patch of grass you were just munching on." Luscious, green grass was Jasper's favorite snack. "Uh, yeah..." Storm replied, looking down at his feet. "Can I have some?" Jasper asked. "No," Storm said, "Go find your own grass." Jasper was glad Storm had said no. That meant he could argue all he wanted and still get the grass. "But you've got the best spot. If you don't give me your grass I'll kick you." Jasper said, losing the care-free and friendly voice he had just been using. Storm looked torn. Finally, he said, "Alright, fine. Take the grass. I wasn't even that hungry anyway."
-
That's how most of the conversations Jasper took part in went. e asked for something, that horse said no, and then Jasper would make a threat and get what he wanted. It was quite fun.
-
After eating all the grass he wanted from Storm's patch, Jasper looked around and spotted a beautiful brindle mare named Fairy, who he had talked to a couple times before. She was funny, and Jasper liked her. He debated whether he should go and talk to her or not, but decided against it. He just wasn't in the mood to be nice right now.

(XD I'm here for it lol!!)
She was grazing on her own patch of grass before getting full and wondering off to explore. Even though the lead stallion had rules and borders that the herd could wonder to, she didn't respect them and enjoyed wondering past the respected border, she flicked her ears and tail as she made her way towards the nearby forest to explore. She hadn't notice Jaspers gaze.
(tried to make it long so u wouldn't feel bad, I think I failed 😂)

Jasper decided he was bored. So first he patrolled the perimeter of the herd for a few minutes, then, finding that even more dull, he walked into the forest to see what he could find that was interesting. He came upon a patch of wild berries. Tentetively, he plucked one off the bush with his teeth and bit into it. It was sweet and had a tangy tinge to it, and Jasper began pulling off more berries. 'Well,' Jasper thought, 'if they're poisonous then I'll die happy.' After eating all he could of the sweet treats, Jasper walked deeper in. He came to a stream and splashed about, soaking his chestnut coat in cool water. He kicked and reared and did whatever he knew to be fun.
