Lukas Rin +-------------------------------------+ Lukas gasped as the cold water drenched his white shirt. A grin spread over his lips. "You little-!" He said, splashing the prince back, coaxing Iris in on it to splash Nox and Thomas. Lukas laughed deeply, the sound soothing. Iris whinnied gently, prancing around in the water pleasantly. She was quite excited. And was a total drama queen. And a total show-off. But Lukas supposed those were the same things. (Sorry it's so short- I'm tired :,) |

Thomas d'Malvane "Little what?" Tom asked innocently, trying to duck under Lu's attacks and failing. He splashed back and tried using Nox as a four-legged shield, but Nox wasn't having it. He pushed Tom backward, and he lost his footing in the mud, resulting in one very soggy prince, who looked quite a bit like a wet cat, and a smug-looking horse. Using Iris's prancing as a distraction, Thomas left the cover of Nox and crept around behind the knight and his horse, and threw his arms around Lukas from behind, pinning his arms to his sides, and shaking his head like a wet dog. Tom had no doubts that Lu could easily get out of his grasp, or just flip him into the water, but for the moment at least he was captured. (lol no worries. I'm off to bed as it is xD) |

Lukas Rin +-------------------------------------+ Lukas yelped as Thomas jumped on his back, taking them both into the water. He grinned widely, laughing. He flipped Thomas over him, splashing him in the water. He smirked, pinning his shoulders. "Trying to ambush me, my prince?"
He teased, grinning. He was interrupted when Iris nipped at Nox, catching the stallion's shoulder. Lukas stood quickly as Nox began to bite back. "Eh! You two! Quit it." He snapped. Iris paused, giving him a pinned-ear look and throwing her head dramatically. She snorted, and Lukas rolled his eyes. "You're such a drama queen." He drawled, glancing down at Thomas, who had stood up. "Come on, I wanna go further around the water." He told the prince, taking Iris' reins and tugging the cranky mare out of the water. He shook his head, shoving a foot into the stirrups and jumping as Iris turned in a tight circle. Lukas gripped her reins tightly, "Hey- Halt." He huffed, squeezing his legs. Iris paused, still looking annoyed. Lukas rolled his eyes, patting her neck gently. (Sorry it's short again-) |

Thomas d'Malvane Tom let out a strangled "AaaAuuagh" as he so rudely ended up even soggier. "Trying," Tom huffed, "but failing, apparently." He was certain it was entirely impossible to sneak up on Lukas, but still a fun challenge. "Hey- Nox, etiquette; no biting a lady even if she bites first," Tom said warningly, then added, "Unless she deserved it." To Nox, Iris definitely deserved it, but Nox tended to get too rough. "Like rider, like horse," Tom chirped as he stood. Trudging out of the water with Nox in tow, the horse waited until Tom was trying to mount him to shake himself out, spraying Thomas yet again and slapping his face with his long ebony mane, but otherwise stood still for him. "Lead the way," Tom said, swinging his leg over Nox's butt and nudging him forward after Iris. (Sorry too x3) |

Lukas Rin +-------------------------------------+ Lukas clicked to Iris quietly and she jolted into a comfortable trot. Although, the way her ears flicked up and down, she really wanted to run. He rolled his eyes and sighed, glancing back at Thomas. "Iris is being cranky, so I'm gonna let her run. Keep up if you want." He said, grinning and kissing Iris. It only took one before she darted forward into a gallop. Lukas loosened his grip on her reins, letting her gallop along the path, hoofbeats hitting against the ground. Lukas saw a fallen tree in front of them and loosened Iris' reins completely, sitting his body up to allow her to clear the jump perfectly. She landed on the other side without any missteps and continued forward. Lukas eventually squeezed his legs, shushing for her to slow. Iris snorted in annoyance but slowed, prancing in a circle. "Really, Iris? Again? Do you like taunting Nox that much?" He grumbled, letting Iris prance in her little tight circles, waiting for Thomas. |

Thomas d'Malvane Nox didn't need a nudge from Tom to get moving, he was close on Iris's tail in an instant. Nox tossed his head approaching the jump, his hindquarters sinking slightly lower to the ground in tense anticipation, picking up his front hooves high and stomping down deep into the dirt, wanting to run faster. Tom didn't let him, just as he wouldn't let him run through the mud, since Nox would get overzealous and completely screw up his strides. Several times Nox has taken the bit and run and just smashed through fences, despite being a very capable jumper. He was really just a bonehead. Arching his neck proudly, Nox took the jump with ease, leaping a good 10 inches higher than he needed to, landing beautifully on the other side. His head was held proudly, his tail high, and Nox seemed very pleased with himself, and Tom was too. The hotheaded horse needed to learn to slow down and think sometimes. Slowing Nox down beside Iris, Tom had mostly forgotten about the problems at hand- mostly. Trying to focus on his horse as Nox did a cheeky little piaffe, he couldn't slow the thoughts. The biggest one was that they'd have to travel to enemy territory and try to sort things out, and he couldn't see a way around this. Sitting by and hoping that Peklonstan would forget and leave Oumas alone wasn't an option. "Lu..." Tom started slowly. "What do you think about a little road trip?" Little was certainly not the right word, but whatever. |

Lukas Rin +-------------------------------------+ Lukas glanced at him, taking in his expression. He frowned. "... What trip are you thinking of, My Prince?" He asked, frowning slightly. He shushed Iris to a full stop, letting her be annoyed as he studied the prince with narrowed eyes. He didn't like the sound of that. Thomas liked trail rides, but he had always hated going on trips with his parents. This was strange. And he couldn't place it... (I'm really sorry- my brain is just dying tonight apparently) |

ideas: maybe we drop a little eye-opener on Tom passing through poor villages that hey, some of your people ain't so well off? And then later on, it turns out King Winsire's been kidnapped or smth, forcing Tom and Lukas far north(or whatever direction lol) to rather uncharted territories to rescue Winsire *cue fantasy creatures that have otherwise been hunted to extinction, then epic battle* |
