Violet pulled her arm away from the chubby man as soon as he'd taken her measurement. Just because she was stuck here didn't mean she had to like it. She saw the peince staring at them and smiling. She stared back. Hopefully her hatred would be seen in her eyes. The tall woman returned not long after. "Now we will take you to your quarters. Your new clothes will be here tomorrow but you start today. Either myself or the prince will show you around the palace before any of you complain about getting lost. The prince might be looking for another personal assistant so be on your best behaviour." She left again, probably to go talk with the prince. Violet snorted. Best behaviour? Being the prince's assistant would be even worse than just a normal servant

Zane watched the slaves carefully, inspecting every little move. Dorian moved towards him, she greeted him with a tight smile, "they're ready" she said, "alright, take half of them and show them the castle, then we will meet up and get them all working, I want to see who does best, so I can pick them, I can't afford to lose another personal assistant to a lion again" he said, flicking a piece of lint of his laced coat. Zane walked towards the slaves group, correcting his cuffs. "Alright, you will be split into two group, one will go with me and the other with Dorian" he said, gesturing to the woman beside him. "The groups will meet again after the tour, and you will work" He said, "split into two groups, now!" He ordered

Violet reluctantly joined a group as everyone split off into two groups. The other group were already on their way when Violet realised they were being led by the tall lady. Then that meant... No!

Violet tried to look over a few heads. She caught sight of the prince. She let out a sigh, of course she was in his group. At least she now had the chance to annoy him in some way. Being thrown in a dungeon would probably be more fun than working for this monster, she thought glumly to herself. She shivered as cold bitter wind swept through the courtyard. When would they start the tour?

Zane watched over the newly formed group of slaves before turning, not uttering a word. Zane strode forward and down the icey halls, elegance showing through every snowflake. Zane pointed out a few things, like the royal gardens, and how nobody but the royal family and royal gardener were allowed in there, "if you have questions, ask them, any time, just be respectful" he said, his voice as sharp as ice. Zane turned away from the group and continued walking and pointing out small things like halls that led to guard chambers and toilets.

As the prince walked along, explaining everything, Violet kept rolling her eyes and mimicking him but even in her new prison, she had to admit the palace was absolutely beautiful even if it was very...blue. Every now and then they would pass a painting of some old royal relative most likely and Violet couldn't help but stare at them curiously. They never had huge, elegant paintings as these back at home. They passed large double doors which the prince did not bother explaining what it was. It looked pretty important, even more than the rest of the palace.

"What's that room?" Violet blurted out before she could stop herself. She tried to blend in with the crowd. Getting punished on her first day? Not on her bucket list.

Zane turned to face the slave that asked the question, then the doors. Zane had only been given the information about the door when he turned 18, that room was where strange weapons and experiments were worked on, something that would be extremely dangerous, something only the royals knew about. "Nothing, it's just a room" he said plainly, not showing the fact that if they went in there they would most likely be killed on sight. "But don't go in there, it's…private." He said, turning back to the slave, "question answered, now let's move on" he said, jerking his head up to the hall.

Violet was surprised when the prince gave an answer at all, even though she was pretty sure he was lying. He was a good liar too, didn't even bat an eyelash. The tour continued and Vi wasn't sure anyone could remember everything. Her stomach growled. The last time she ate had been the day before at dinner. Did they even feed the slaves proper meals here? And when would they reach their quarters. Violet was exhausted and was dreading the thought that they all still had to start working today. Still, at least she wouldn't be chosen as the prince's assistant, the chances of that were miniscule.

Zane led the newly formed group into the Royal fields, Dorian was leading the other group into the Royal fields at the same time. Zane headed towards a patch where there were no crops growing. He turned to the two groups, Dorian standing beside him. "Merge" he ordered, he watched as they moved to create one group, not a smile on their face. Zane looked at each one with a glare. "You will begin working here, this will be a test to see where you end up" he said, "try your best" he said, him and Dorian moving out of the way, "collect your tools and start working" he said, gesturing to two boxes full of the materials they would need

Violet stared at the box of tools. What did he want them to do, farm? The tall lady, Dorian as Violet found out, was watching them all carefully. A few began to grab some shovels and rakes, while others collected small pouches from the box, presumably full of seeds.

Oh, she thought. I guess we really are farming. Violet gave a tiny smile, farming was one of the things she enjoyed doing. Except for one problem. The frost covered ground was to hard to properly dig. Violet was practically smacking the ground with her shovel now. It'd been around 30 minutes and she had only managed to make 3 small holes and sprinkle in few seeds. Violet sighed and stood up. This is torture.

Zane stood beside Dorian, he clasped his hands behind his back and watched them, all of them were capable of farming, its was just the frost that got in the way. They would have to solve that by letting the others teach them little tricks when it comes to farming in the cold. Zane turned and watched a girl smacking the ground with her shovel. Zane raised his eyebrow and continued to watch, he couldn't help but chuckle.
