Audrey was about to return to practicing her archery when a voice rang out. She turned, her arrow mid pull. She dropped her arm and a whistle coming from her mouth. Arwen heard the call and returned back to her side. She glared at the merman sitting on a rock. "As far as I'm concerned, I'm not on Merperson territory" she pointed out matter of factly. She did lower her bow though. She was indeed still on Elven land, as the elves ruled the land and the merpeople the sea. She grabbed Arwen's reigns, ready to protect her if the merman decided to attack. "I could ask you the same, what brings you so close to Elven territory?" She asks.

Al held himself up, "This is my cove!" He growled at the elf, he lived here, practically. "You and your floured legged whale can get out of here!"

Audrey burst out laughing as he called Arwen a four legged whale. "What did you call her? A whale? She's a horse" she giggled. "What's a whale? Never heard nor seen one. Is it some sort of aquatic creature I assume?" She asks. Arwen snorted, seemingly offended to be called a whale. "You're hilarious" she comments, continuing to laugh. Al blushed, embarrassed, he had only ever known those THINGS as four legged whales, Al snorted. "Whales are big blubbery creatures that swim, their big softy's" he said, rubbing his arm where the gauntlet was starting to pinch at his skin, being built for water.

Audrey nodded, "Weird, but okay" she was unsure what to think of this creature when she put together the pices of information to form a picture in her head. "Well, I guess I should leave you to whatever you were doing" she turned, about to head back to archery practice.

Al frowned, "Um, you know I can't let you get away with being this close to the boarder right?" Al said, his voice deepening, trying to become menacing. Al brung out his trident, the smooth metal sparkled in the sun light under Al's webbed hands

Audrey raised an eyebrow, "oh? Really? Whatcha gonna do about it?" She asks. "You want to further the war that's occurring?" She asks, shaking her head.

Al frowned at her, "how would killing you further a war?" He said, leaning forward now, he had let this go on for to long.

Audrey cursed alien fly, she was in a sticky situation. She couldn't reveal her identity, that was not an option. She also couldn't let the merman injure Arwen either. She smirked, "well, what would the king say if he found another elf dead? He'd assume it was by you fish" she replied. "Anyways, you won't win" she added with a shrug.

Al gave the elf a cruel smile, his shark like teeth showing, "don't be so sure, the both the kings that rule our kingdoms were sure dead bodies would start to pop up, it makes no difference, this is a war. I have already bent my kings rules by letting you live on sight." Al pictured his father, coiled on the throne like a snake ready to bite.
