"Grumpy? I wouldn't call multiple bites in the span of fifteen minutes grumpy." She scoffed, tensing when the snake slithered over to her. At that point, it was too late to run, so she sat shock-still as the snake deposited itself in her lap. She went slightly pale, not moving a muscle. "...how do I know he won't bite me too?" She asked stiffly, staring down at the snake quietly.

Del glared at the man as he brushed aside her discomfort. "Okay. Great. I have a temperamental, biting snake in my lap. That's sleeping. No big deal." She said sarcastically, trying to keep her breathing slow. "Can you, respectfully, get your snake off of me please?" She managed through slightly gritted teeth, glancing down at the sleeping snake. "No offense, little guy." She added anxiously.

Del huffed at him, letting out a soft sigh as her kidnapper brought himself closer and removed the snake. She nodded faintly at him for his statement, standing and carrying her book. She made her way to the spare room, glancing around and giving a light shrug. "Okay!" She yelled back, setting her book down on the nightstand and crawling into bed.

Del tossed and turned for a little, but eventually managed an uneasy sleep. She woke rather early the next morning; reading for a few minutes and then striding barefoot out to the kitchen to search for coffee. She found it eventually, making herself some quietly. She glanced around for her kidnapper, letting out a tiny huff and continuing on her way. It felt strange, being in shorts and a barely there crop-top somewhere completely unfamiliar.

"Ah. The kidnapper lives." Delilah quipped sarcastically, watching him cook for a few moments before moving into the living room to drink her coffee. She had to admit, her situation could have been worse. At least her kidnapper was handsome, and young. And... not abusive. Overall, she wasn't too upset. She glanced at his temperamental snake, shifting uneasily as it eyed here through the tank.
