He glared back at her. "If thats what you want to do. If you're smart like I'm hoping, you'll pick it up quick." He smirked at her sharply." He zipped up the bag and leaned on the table. "And I could be named Norman." He made a face as he came back from grabbing the flannel. He crossed his arms. "Yes it is entirely possible that I'm pacing because theres an angel in my motel room." He said sarcastically, looking rather fidgety. "All the way from heaven?" He teased. "Liar."

"I like to think I'm pretty smart, but I wouldn't hold out too much hope." Tempe said sarcastically, again just watching him move around. "Oof. Yeah, Norman is pretty bad." She chuckled, rolling her eyes. "Why ever would you be pacing because of little old me?" She asked teasingly, tilting her head at him. "Yeah, I did. Heavens pretty boring, y'know." She huffed.

"Time will tell." He teased forwardly, thinking about her name, and her laugh. She was pretty angelic, she just didn't act like it. "Wouldn't you be pacing if a species you didn't know existed, showed up in your house and apparently wants to be your best friend?" He narrowed his eyes at her. "Earth is pretty boring. Most of what I do is drive." He pulled a chair our from the other side- where he hadn't been sitting and grabbed the bottle, sitting down. More whiskey.

"I guess it will. Sometimes I can't even tell, so you'll have to let me know when you find out." Tempe teased sarcastically, thinking for a moment and then giving a shrug. "I'm gonna pretend I'm not insulted by the whole species thing, but; no. Not if that 'species' had a halo, white wings, was relatively nice and somewhat funny, as well as a bit pretty. I'd be very curious to find out more about them, rather than having an existential crisis over their existence." She answered lightly. "Well then, guess who your new roadtrip buddy is? Me! Try not to get too excited." She teased, raising her eyebrows as he sat down and continued drinking whiskey straight from the bottle. It was starting to become quite the concern.

"I already know, I don't know if I like it but I know." He glared slightly. "Does sub-species make you happier?" He teased, another sip of whiskey. "Hurray, I think?" He stared up at her from the seat. "So you say you were alive once, when?" He took another sip, watching her face, she seemed a little worried by something, which he was oblivious to the reason. His face was severely blank.

"Then do tell, Sir secretive." Tempe mocked, giving him a false-sweet smile in return to his glare. "Yes, it does. It makes me feel far more included and less alienated. Thanks." She said sarcastically, grinning at him. "Calm down. I told you not to get too excited." She teased, tilting her head at the question. "Eh, about... fiiiive years ago? Something like that." She shrugged, still watching him with underlying concern. "Do you always drink like you're trying to black out?" She asked curiously.

"You were half right, its because I laugh, but not how I laugh. When I laugh. Its involuntary, so you'll find out soon enough if you're going to be on my tail." He kept it vague, slightly embarrassed, rolling his eyes. "Didn't take you long to come flying back to earth." He teased, taking another sip. He looked down at the bottle, then back to her. "Usually, but it takes a lot more than this to get me black-out." He looked back and forth between her eyes.

"Oh, that doesn't sound borderline psychotic at all. Can't wait to see it." Tempe said, a curious gleam in her eye. She shrugged. "I spend less time in heaven that any other place, honestly." She shrugged, watching him drink with her head tilted. "Oh, so you have a problem with alcohol. I should put that in my imaginary notepad." She nodded sarcastically, standing and walking around the room, unfolding her wings only slightly, since she couldn't do much more in the space. "You know, no one ever told me that having wings would be so uncomfortable. I'm rarely ever anywhere where I can just... stretch." She huffed, running a finger across the feathery underside of her wing.

He looked over her face, creepy how excited she was. He sat up and pulled a knee up, foot on the chair. "Everyone has places they like." He looked away. Trying to figure out if he was lying or not.. He glared over at her diagnosis. "It's not exactly a problem, I'm still alive and usually am not hazardous." He said mockingly, and very casually. He'd definitely accepted the fact that his liver probably looks like a clump of sea kelp. He watched her struggle with her wings. "I don't know what you're gonna do in my car then." He crossed his arms, there he'd found his happy place, behind the wheel of his sweet ride.

Tempe gave a light shrug. "Well, I like Earth." She let her wings flutter pitifully and then folded them again, huffing. She scoffed at his explanation. "You just drank more whiskey in the last fifteen minutes than five college kids could in four years. You have a problem. I'll be amazed if you make it past thirty." She mocked, then winced at the number. She would've been almost thirty, if she were still alive. She shuddered at the thought and stared at the gilded edges of her wings for a few moments. "Eh, I'll figure it out. Maybe I can sit on the roof." She said sarcastically.
