Kennedy shook his head with a small chuckle at her sarcastic remark before bringing his gaze over to the shed. He listened to her carefully while nodding as he took a mental note of everything she said and pointed too. Mercy seriously was well knowledged about this place, she might have been a personal assisstant to the princess or queen or something with how well she knew everything. Kennedy nodded once more at her last comment before tossing his strawberry top in the same bin as he disappeared into the shed. A few moments later he returned out with a hedge shear and a small bin to put the trimmings in, "Alright, now lead the way please" He said.. Well more like asked politely

"You got it." She reached for the bin and took it from him gently so she could feel useful too. She gave him a bright smile and lead the way over to the hedges, taking turns that someone could really only remember to take if they knew the layout of the land. She popped the bin down and hopped up on the foot of some sort of marble statue, sitting down cross legged on it and gesturing to the little clearing they were in that was bordered by hedges that had gone a bit wild. "Those are the ones he wants you to trim." She offered helpfully, looking at him with an expression that said she was pleased with herself (and expecting praise). Kennedy kind of was confused as she reached out for the bin, he was about to just snatch it out of her grasps so she didn't have to carry anything but decided against that. He then followed closely behind her as she lead the way, he also tried to remember how many turns they made and which way they went but in the end he was just as lost as when they started. Kennedy let out a small sigh as they reached the clearing, he watched her hop up on a statue before looking at the wildly grown out hedges she was talkign about "Oh okay... Thanks for the help" He said with a tiny warm smile before walking over to the hedges and beginning to trim them "So do you have a job around here besides harrassing the new people?" He asked with a serious tone but a small grin secretly crept onto his face

She gave a mock gasp of offense. "Me? Harass? Never!" She looked around. "No, you must be talking about someone else, because I know you absolutely love my company. I do have a job- but it's nothing fancy. I just help out whereever I can. Other wise I sit and look pretty. Im pretty good at it if I do say so myself." She twirled her auburn hair around her finger in a mocking way.

He chuckled at her gasps and mocking tone, he continued to work as she spoke and rolled his eyes at her first sentence. After she finshed speaking he pondered what her job might actually be "Whatever you want to believe but I definitely do not enjoy your company" He huffed but that was a lie, he actually quite enjoyed the girls presence which is weird since he usually liked working or hanging out by himself. "So your a maid... no wait... I can't even tell what your job is supposed to be" He said still trying to figure it out "But I'd love to have a job were I got to sit and look pretty all day, I think I'd be perfect for the job" He joked before flicking his hair side to side for a moment as if fluffy it up

"You can lie to yourself all you want, but you can't lie to me. I get it though, it'shard not to love me." She gave a dramatic sigh. "You'd be great, but not prefect. I was born for the job. I would always outshine you. You see this?" She gestured to her face. "Prime pretty material. You wouldn't stand a chance." She tossed her hair over her shoulder and struck an overdramatic model pose. "Not even your fluffing can compete with my natural amazingness."

"Oh there is a hundred things I could say right now on why I don't love you" Kennedy huffed with a serious tone but that stupid grin kept on his face making it not so serious. After her next comment he let out a sharp gasp and looked over at her "What do you mean not perfect? I am the definition of perfect and no I don't see anything beside a annoying girl" He teased with a mischevious twinkle growing into his eye "Yeah yeah whatever you wanna call it but this right here" You pointed to his face before running that same hand through his hair brushing it back "Is the most handsomest thing you will ever lay eyes on" He teased again with a charming smile settling onto his lips, he did have to admit though the girl was pretty a way that he had to admire her

"Yeah. I think it is. Then again, you don't have much competition around here. Geoffrey isn't much of a looker, if you haven't noticed." She shrugged, walking over to him. "And I am NOT annoying, I am loveable, and you can ask that thing right there if you think im wrong, because that smile sure as hell is proving me right." She tapped his lips with her finger and gave him a cheeky grin. She walked off and trailed her hand against the edge of the hedges, smiling.

Kennedy chuckled "Oh so glad you came to your senses and now I'm handsome... and true there isn't much to compete against here" He said as he watched her get up and walk over to him. He was a bit shocked by her tapping his lips bit he didn't let it shine through his teasing gaze "Whatever helps you sleep at night lady but to me you are just as annoying as me and this smile proves nothing besides that you enjoy seeing me have it" He huffed as he continued to watch her walk off for a moment before going back to trimming

She huffed and grabbed a stick from the trimming bin, walking over, and twirling it artfully in his hair so it stuck straight up. "Now, you are better than handsome. You... are a pretty pretty princess, just like me! Isn't it what you always wanted?" She grinned at him expectantly, waiting for a pat on the back for her amazing work, her hands on her hips.
