He looked up from a knife he had been messing with when he heard sounds coming from the chair. A small smile appeared on his face as he looked at the girl. He stood from his own seat and walked over, twirling the knife as he did. "Well good morning sunshine," he says to her, "how was your sleep? I'd imagine that it was pretty peaceful." Roger knew that he would be annoying the girl and was tempted to take the gag off of her to hear what her pleads were, but didn't since she would most likely scream. While the girl had been asleep Roger had gone and sent a voice mail to her parents with his request on a disposable phone and then gotten rid of it. "I wonder how long it will take for your parents to send my demands," he says to her, "because if not then this will be a bad ending for you." As he says this he places the edge of the knife against her throat.

~ Brooklyn watched the knife in the man's hand and drew in a sharp breath, she looked around fearfully. He...he wasn't going to kill her was he?! She couldn't help but shoot him a glare, and then he brought the knife near her neck and she almost lost it. How much had he asked her parents for?! Their whole company?! All of their...her money?! 'I bet when he gets what he wants...or if he gets what he wants, I don't think my parents would give up that much money to save their own daughter. He will probably have me killed either way!'. Brooklyn felt the blade of the knife on her neck, it was cold...cold like this man's heart, whom she had thought was just a nice, hot guy wanting to stop and take her back to her house! She had the urge to shake the chair and try to get out...but that would only get her killed faster... "please don't hurt me..." she mumbled through the gag, she barely understood herself so she wouldn't be surprised if the man didn't understand her.

To Roger's surprise the girl had managed to mutter some words through the gag. He was able to understand her though, since he had done this quite a lot and had gotten used to hearing muffled words from his victims. "Now listen cutie," he says lowering the knife from her throat, "as long as you don't scream, fight back, or misbehave in any other way then you will leave without a scratch on you. But if you do anything like that then you will be punished. Not killed just punished. You understand?" ~ Brooklyn glared at the blond man, Roger, he had heard her...surprisingly, this made her wonder how many times he had done this. She was beginning to think this wasn't his first time doing this. Her words somewhat surprised her, his words played again in her head, "...misbehave in any other way then you will leave without a scratch on you." she would be getting out of here...eventually! But, he said if she didn't behave she would be punished, what sort of punishment...would be getting hurt?! Brooklyn figured it would be better for her just to cooperate, and that was a bit easier now that she didn't have a killing machine raw against her neck. Even though her heart was beating hard...Brooklyn nodded and lowered her gaze.

He watched as she nodded and seemed to calm down some. "Keep acting like this and you might get a reward," he said with a small smile, "I will say I have never actually given the reward to anyone, but you might change that. What do you say sweet heart?" He usually called his victims different nicknames just for the fun of it. Some would retaliate while others wouldn't mind it and some would actually like it. Roger spun the knife around and slipped it back into it's case. He then walked over and moved his chair from earlier over near Brooklyn's and sat down. He didn't have anything else to do so he figured he could just sit here and listened to the girl talk. Before he sat down he took the gag off of her and held it in his hands as he sat down.

~ A reward? Hm... Brooklyn watched carefully as Roger put away the knife. She was getting a headache with the number of questions she had. Brook knew that he wouldn't care to answer most of them, because most of them had to do with his identity and she figured that would be good for her and well, painstakingly bad for him. Her body stiffened as she watched him come over close to her and untie the gag, she was surprised by this action. But she must have agreed to enough to make him feel like he could count on her not screaming...rethinking what he had said she decided that, yeah, it was enough. Brooklyn cleared her throat as Roger sat back down in his chair, "Excuse me? But what about my hands? Mind taking the rope off them?". Brooklyn smirked and then blew a stray strand of hair that was caught in her face, away.

He chuckled some, "Not a chance girly. If you need something done with your hands I will do it. Trust me I've dealt with plenty of people and know better than to untie you now." Roger's eyes shifted up and down her body as she sat in front of him. He examined her and knew from early that she wasn't that strong. 'Or smart even,' he thinks, 'getting into a strangers car just because they look cute isn't at all smart. She's lucky I didn't kill her like some other people would have.'

~ Brooklyn scoffed and looked around the room again, are we in a basement? Really? "So, Im not suspecting I've been your only...victim? After how you kidnapped me, I would say it was pretty smooth, not something that a first-timer could do." Brooks gave went back to Roger. "How much did you ask for? Just so I know how poor I will be beforehand." she put on a sarcastic smile. "You know, I was going to get my hair done today, even get a mani-pedi, you really couldn't have stopped and thought that a girl would have to do that before anything major happened. Gosh dang it! I was going to get fit for my new school uniform! You interrupted that too.". "So will I just be help captive here until my parents give you what you want? Because I highly doubt that will happen any time soon..." she mumbled the last part.

He listened as the girl complained and contemplated putting the gag back on her, but didn't since she was actually making a decent conversation. Any other person he had done this to would have started bawling their eyes out and begging him to let them go. "Oh no I've had a lot of other victims," he says, "but I have not been caught yet. The others have been kind of a warm up though for more... expensive catches like you." Roger then waited for her to stop crying about not being able to go and get all fancied up. "I asked for.. about.. Mm.. 20 grand. I thought that sounded reasonable seeing your families net worth and all. My price was probably on the low side but it will still take a decent chunk out of your parents' wallets." He smiled some at Brooklyn's guess on her being there for a while. "Oh trust me if they don't I'll remind them what's at stake," he chuckled, "I doubt they would want to loose their "perfect little angel." Don't you?"

~ Brooklyn was flattered of course that the man had thought she was an expensive catch. She chuckled and then stopped, trying to do some math in her head..."Hold up...20 grand that's." she mumbled some equations in her head for a couple of seconds. "That is my 5-month allowance! Y-you!" she paused before sticking her tongue out and smiling, "You couldn't have done better?". Of course, she had to be careful, she didn't want to be "punished" or have that gag thing back on, but it was fun seeing how different people would react. "I mean, with at least some experience I would think that you could have raised it to a million or something like that...but sure, just take away my allowance.". Brooklyn sighed, no more shopping for her for a while then. Yeah, yeah. She knew she was a spoiled brat, but she liked it, being the daughter of the richest people in the state did you some good.
