West slowed to a walk about the place he saw her trip. He knew exactly where she was.., but he didn't want to scare her more. "For now I'm just going to call you Palomino mare, since I don't know your name. I only want to ask a question, I Won't hurt you." West called out in the general direction of where she was hiding

She lays in the leaves, as still, and as quiet as she could.. she was listening to what he had to ask
West sighed. "My name is Wild West and I sincerely promise I won't hurt you. I know where you're hiding, and, as you can see, I'm not moving towards you. I just want to know how you missed the scent marks and why you're in my territory." West tried to relax his muscles and quiet his breathing but the long run had taken a toll on him.

The mare thought for a few moments, before deciding to stand and answer his questions "W-Well, I'm sorry I didn't mean to invade your territory, I didn't know this area was taken... And I'm having trouble with my sence of smell.. you see Wild West, I'm allergic to lavander and had accidentally passed some a few miles back, my nose should be better soon though, and I'm sorry again for trespassing, I'll leave if you want

West flicked his ears as the mare emerged, turning her way. He kept his head lower as a sign he wouldn't hurt her, keeping his body relaxed and non-threatening. "It's fine, I just wanted to know why. I'm sorry about your allergies, and you can stay if you'd like." He dipped his head and started walking away back up the hill. He didn't want to scare her too much... and even he had to admit he was intimidating. At least five horses had thought he was a bear, running away and screaming in terror. He was slightly lonely... he hated being so big.

Mystery stood there, not sure what to say, so quietly a few steps behind, she followed him up the hill "I'm Mystery.." The mare said ever so quietly
West turned, looking back. "Well it's nice to meet you Mystery." He dipped his head, continuing till he got to the other side where there was a small valley with a stream running through the middle of it. He walked down to the stream, taking a drink and wondering why the mare followed him

She kept a small distance, felt awkward, so she just grazed a little then started licking her leg "I hope he doesn't mind me being here"
West's pelt twitched, and he looked up. He felt a storm was coming.

Mystery notices West's attention being drawn up "What's wrong? Is there something dangerous?"
