"For any specific reason?" Luca enquired. "I am intrigued..." Her voice trailed off, as her eyes set on the girl's dark notebook. I wonder... she thought with a grin. Looking up and down at the girl once more, she gestured for her to stand up. "Also, what is your name?"

"Specific reason?" Sadie found herself parotting the question like she was hard of hearing or something. "Well, not really... I mean, I'm not sure. I'm sort of... lost, and I was just drawing," she gestured at the book, "and well, you looked interesting so I decided to draw you," she explained. Sadie looked around the room, hesitantly riing to her feet. "Also, where am I? Because I fell asleep at my university library, and now I'm lost. I mean, I have no idea where I am."

(Excuse me for not seeing this >~< (And the lousy place names lol)) "What's a university...?" Luca's voice trailed off in question. "And this is the Gonbeall Inn, in Yettertown Bay. There's a library across the road, did you fall asleep there?" Luca's voice questioned the poor girl. Luca was standing there, relaxed, waiting for an answer. Naturally, her eyes scanned around herself occasionally, looking for potential threats.

"What is a university?" Sadie stood mute, stunned at the question, her eyes staring blankly at the girl as she tried to comprehend. She tried, and failed. This girl didn't know what a university was. How could she not know what a universoty was? Maybe she'd simply never been. Or maybe, this was one giant prank and someone would come out with a camera team and inform her that she'd be on TV. Then the last bit informaiton sank in. "Where the heck is Yettertown Bay?"

(I'm gonna be real busy for the weekend + fri, don't expect to see much of me) "You seem confused..." Luca was not sure what the girl meant. Everyone around knew of Yettertown, it was the most famous town in the area. This girl had come from ages away to not know about it, Luca contemplated.

All G, me to tbh. Window cleaning weekend before winter, also ✨BIOPSYCHOLOGY✨ )) "I seem comfused?" Sadie parroted incredulously, and then burst into laughter. "'confused' is an understatement," she said. Sadie glanced down at her leather satchel and grimaced before looking back at the girl. "So, there are a number of options," she started. "First, I am dreaming. Unlikely, because I think I would've woken up by now. Second, this is a giant prank, and I was drugged and moved to a different library in my sleep and the TV crew is waiting to come out, which is also unlikely because, well, it would be illegal. Third, I went to sleep in my university library and woke up in a different world, and that, my dear girl, is not possible. It would be completely outragreous." Sadie ticked off the options on her fingers, her voice rising as she spoke. Edited at March 11, 2023 01:36 AM by Helderfontein

As the girl continued talking, Luca became more and more puzzled. "I- uhh..." She stuttered a bit, just running over a few words in her head. TV?? What did this girl mean? "Do you have a place to stay?" Luca asked. "Yettertown can be quite dangerous, especially if you don't know what you are doing. I could help you there if you want." Luca offered, putting on a slight smile.

Sorry I never saw this!)) Sadie's shoulders sagged at look of confusion on the stranger's face once Sadie had finished her bordering-on-hysterical rant. Tears pricked at her eyes as the feeling of defeat washed over her, forcing her to swallow the lump that climbed up her throat. "I'm Sadie," she said in a resigned tone, holding out her hand for the girl to shake. She thought that she would at least introduce herself to the girl that was offering her help. "Your offer is very kind, I would like to take you up on it."

Oh god i didn't see this too lol)) "Luca." She said as she offered out her hand. "Walk with me." Gesturing for Sadie to follow, Luca weaved in and out of the tables, to the exit of the inn. Noticing that her new companion was falling behind, she paused for a break just outside the door. She continued walking in silence until they arrived at the water's edge.

Sadie nodded at Luca and gathered her sketchbook and pencils, stuffing them into her satchel before moving through the crowd to follow Luca. The girl stood waiting for her near the doorway, and started moving again just as Sadie reached her. She took Luca's cue and followed her quietly, not making any effort to strike up more conversation. She was tired, and her brain was reeling from the events of the last couple of hours. When they arrived at the water, Sadie gave Luca a questioning look. "Why are we here?" Her question trailed off as she took in the view.
