Rain sighed she would have to forget what she said to hail which was pretty mean to say, rain lays down and close her eyes before opening them and looks around the herd and then at hail and got up walks over and said " hail I am sorry I shouldn't have said that it just I never talked to a lot of members or stallions " as she looks down and sighed before looking back at him

Rain looks at the herd and then at the other stallions and said out loud " hail is pretty much cuter then all of the other stallions " as she realized she said that and shut her mouth and looks away and hoping he doesn't question what she said

As Hail settled down he noticed Rain walking over to him. His coat dirty, as the ground was muddy, he sat up. "No need to be sorry." He said. "I'm plenty used to it.". Rain looked down.

Then Rain turned around and said something. "I didn't quite catch that Rain, what did you say?" Hail inquired.

Hail was curious. Rain had said something, but it was just it of earshot. The rest of the herd, save for some of the stallions were close to asleep. The moon was out now, and it lit up Rain and Hail, as they stood.

Rain said "nothing just thinking it is a beautiful night and wondering why we are moving "as she looks at him and lays down not close before in ear shot, rain sighed and said " what is it with horses gossiping about things "as she looks over at him she really didn't mind getting dirty at all.

Rain sneezes and shakes her head before flicking her tail and looks around she felt quite safe and sound but why she wishes her mom was here to tell her that or her brother at least he could

"I wondered why we were moving too. The plains were fine..." He suddenly questioned the lead stallion's decision, even though Hail knew he could trust him. "As for the gossip, nooo idea!" Hail chuckled, but slightly halfheartedly.

Soon Hail was off to sleep, dreaming about many different things. Soon sunrise was nearing, and Rain was on the other side of the clearing.

Rain lays down near a tree and looks around before closing her eyes and falling to sleep she really didn't mind of this but really tired of moving around. Rain could feel everyone sleeping she smiles and when into her dreams which takes her back to being with her father and brother then her mom was beside

Rain woke up early and looks around before sighing and got up to eat since she had nothing better to do and waiting for everyone to wake up at least before they leave to where ever they are going

The lead stallion called the herd towards him, telling them what they were doing for the day. When travelling was mentioned, there was a collection of moans and groans from the herd.

Well, it could be worse, Hail contemplated. At least this time I have someone to talk to, he thought. Then as he was walking over, he caught Rain's eye, and then swiftly looked away. He then proceeded to trot away awkwardly to the front of the herd.

Rain sighed and watches the herd she knows she would be in the back again since she is a mare it was time to move she walks slowly behind the herd until they picked up.

Rain sighed and talks to herself before river bothers her and started talking to her as will she didn't mind that at all rain laughs and said " river i didn"t want him to die"

As the herd was walking through the forest, Hail thought he could smell a hint of ash. "I think I can smell fire?" He said to Wild and Root, who were walking beside him. Wild disagreed, and they continued walking for a while longer.

Soon, Hail saw smelt the most definite smoke he had ever smelt in his life and neighed a warning. "Fire! Get out of the woods!"

The herd erupted into a panic. Through the daze, he saw Rain, just standing there, shocked. "Come on Rain! We have to move!" Hail moved over to Rain and nudged her in the flank.

Rain got scared of the first smell of smoke and then when hail try to move her she when galloping away with the herd trying to get away she hated the smell it was not a good smell not like the air was, rain whines and made sure the foals were coming and to see if river was running as while yes rain care about river like a sister would

Rain looks around before she shakes in fear but it didn't stop her from going when someone says we got to get going she go no matter what stops her from going at least their is nothing that can stop her

The herd was frantically galloping through the forest, mares keeping an eye out for their foals, when they made it to a lake. The fire was miles away now. "Everyone in the water!" Lead stallion said.
