Amber kept her tremble as she tried to keep cool. Her eyes never moved from the boy as he sat on the branch. She didn't say a word, never let out a sound just silently sat right up against the tree like something was holding her there, perhaps her fear? Perhaps her stubbornness? But she did wonder what the boy was doing in the forest in the first place and why did he save her?

Sage watched the girl for a minute before shrugging and sliding off the tree branch. "Ok then. Have fun dying walking to the pig." He put his hands in his pockets and walked off. He could feel Death's anger through the collar, and he wanted to get away from the girl before the energy was released and he looked like a fool. (When Death releases the energy it hurts the demons like crazy. It kind of like a dog's shock collar but much more powerful and Death can control it with his mind since he's the current Master.)

Amber stood up watching the boy leave Wait!..Thank you she mumbled in the forgotten language just loud enough for him to hear. She stumbled towards slightly as she spoke, gave him one last look and began climbing hee way very slowly up the tree.

Sage turned around when she spoke. "Your wel- what are you doing now?" He sighed. Climbing a tree. Apparently she was dumber than she looked. "Ok, look, if I bring you your pig will you just sit still so you don't bleed open again?" He was getting slightly annoyed with the girl - using his powers took energy he didn't really have, and he didn't have that energy because he didn't consume hers. He knew she didn't know that, but common sense should tell her that climbing a tree after almost bleeding out was a bad idea.

Amber stopped climbing, letting herself hang from a branch to think about the boy's offer. She then just about pulled herself up onto the branch and sat there. She nodded her at the boy and proceeded to lie on her back with her arms behind her head waiting for her food to arrive

Sage sighed and slipped back into the forest to grab the boar. He started dragging it back when Death released the energy in his collar and he gasped and fell to his hands and knees. Ok, so he had really pissed Death off. Lovely. When he the pain ebbed he staggered to his feet and grabbed the boar again, dragging it back to the girl. "You're gonna have to come down at some point to cook it, ya know."

Amber peered down and he called out. Yeah when you leave she muttered. She purposely got down slowly in the hope he would get annoyed and leave for she would start cooking the boar incase he wanted some. As she climbed down she argues whether or not to offer him some as a thank you

Sage snorted and rolled his eyes. "I'm thinking I should stay and make sure you don't kill yourself tonight," he muttered. If he was being truthful, he just really didn't want to go back to hell and face his family and Death. It wouldn't be pretty. He sat with his back against a tree about twenty feet away from the girl, facing away from her as he sketched in the dirt. He was sketching Death since he was on his mind

Amber cooked the boar, took a piece from the fire and threw it at the boy Eat it..or not I don't care after a minute or two of Maber psyching herself up she asked How do you know this language?, it's not called The Forgotten Language for nothing

Sage looked over at the piece of meat in surprise and then back at the girl, confusion and shock written on his face. Then he blinked and his face went back to normal. As in pissy and on edge. He shrugged. "Same way as you probably. I grew up here and picked it up."
