"They really seem to like you," Chantal said, noticing the princess waving at the people, "I mean- of course they do, you are their futrure queen anyway." He wanted to start some sort of conversation with the princess to fill the silence.

She looked back up, "I like the people" Lena watched them walk and carry things. She shook her head, "Don't remind me" she laughed.

"Are you not excited to become the queen," he asked confused, "most of the young lords and ladies that I was assigned to before you were extremely excited to take over their parent's estate."

"Not really, I was just going to leave but my father won't let me" she looked back outside through the window. She sighed, "I'm not sure why they would won't to take over their parents kingdom but alas a lot do" she shrugged.

He looked at her, examining her for a moment, before speaking again. "I don't think I ever got your name," he said, "I know that I should call you by your royal title, but I like to know call people by their names every now and again."

He watched him for a moment, "Lena, my names Lena" she answered while closing her book and slipping it back into her book bag, "What's yours?" She asked.

"Sir Chantal Christian Black," he answered while sitting up straighter, "but you may call me Chantal. A pleasure to meet you Princess Lena."

He chuckled lightly, "If you say so. By the way, what was that book you were reading? It looked a little interesting." Chantal wasn't that much into books, but every now and again one caught his eye.

She took the book out, "Oh it's Candide" (I don't how far back we are but it's a 1700s) she opened it.
