Ellie looked in his direction "w..whos there" she pushed herself up off the ground scooping the bags up in her hands.

Sage snorted. "Me. No one." He pushed himself off the wall he was leaning on and started to walk away. It was slow, and he was a bit light headed, but he managed to keep his balance. "It doesn't matter because I'm leaving. And if you know what's good for you, you'll leave too. Before someone steals more than just an apple."

She stayed quiet and glanced down at the bags she had. she organized some things she needed into two of the bags she sighs softly and walked towards him "here" she held the third bag out to him it had some bread, meat, cheese and a few waters. " you need this more than I do" she smiled softly

He blinked and frowned slightly, debating whether this was a trick or not. He had learned not to trust anyone, but he could tell this girl was no trickster. He thought for a moment and then grunted. "ok, to please you, I'll take the bread. But anything else would be too dangerous for me to have."

She nods slightly "alright" she smiled softly as he stepped into the light she scanned his figure. "Im Ellie" she spoke soft and sweet she did her best to stay calm because she didnt want to scare him off.

He grunted. "Sage." He picked up the bread and turned to leave then frowned. "what is someone like you doing in a shitty place like this, anyway?" He did want to know why the girl was walking in this alley when she could be somewhere much nicer. And safer. "If someone else saw you, they could have killed you. Ya realize that?"

"this way is faster to the back door where I'm staying" she looked back down the alley they weren't far from the door.
