Noah nodded, "Yep, everything will be okay,"

Three sharp knocks interupted the silence. Remember that number, there'll be a quiz later, featuring a desperate guest chasing one thing. :) Emery's breath hitched, eyes widening a smidge as she looked up at her fiancee, fear written on her expression as she worried heavily. "What if it's him? But then again, could just be a delivery guy needing a signature." She noted, rubbing her face with her hands as though somewhat wiping away the expression, convincing herself all was well and it was just UPS or something.

Noahs head snapped up, looking over at the door. He'd tensed as soon as the knocks ran out, and he was thinking the exact same thing. He turned back to her, his eyes gentle. "Would you like me to check the door or pretend we're not home?" he asked in a whisper, soft tone.

She considered for a moment, letting out a soft sigh as she landed on an answer. "Go ahead and just check it, could be a mailman needing a signature, wouldn't be surprised if it was, Max is always ordering parts for that stupid one he has, could be one of those." Emery murmured, tensing slightly even as she pushed her fear deep down.

Noah nodded, standing and getting up, going to the door. He unlocked it, checking the door.

|
A man dressed in a UPS uniform stood there, package tucked in his arm, a screen in the other needing a signature. "Got a package, just need a quick signature." He explained, handing over both items.

Noah sighed a sigh of relief and nodded, signing and taking the packages. "Thank you, have a good night," he said to the guy, coming back inside, locking the door tight behind him.

|
The man nodded, hopping back into his truck before starting for the next house. Emery didn't pay any mind to the package, seeing Max's name on it and deciding to leave it be. Yet somebody else watched.

Noah settled beside Em again, wrapping his arm around her shoulders.

She leaned into him, burying her face in his chest. -- Eli sat at a desk, laptop infront of him, the camera in the package covering all of the living room and the stairwell.
