The docotr waited. "Nothing else came back. Keep your eye on her."

"What about the pneumonia? Any medicine for that?"

The doctor nodded and walked to his computer. "Pick it up in an hour here" he said, pointing to a drug store nearby

Nate nodded "Okay, he sighed.

"Thanks for stopping and checking she was alright" the doc said, walking out

Nate nodded, turning back to Dakota.

Dakota was curled into a cold little ball, eyes squeezed shut

Nate held her close, very worried. And hour later, he stopped by the drugstore, getting her meds and giving one to her.

Dakota rode home, shivering

Nate scooped her up once they were home, rushing her inside and running her a warm bath.
