"Everything hurts..." She moaned

He held her close. "Doctor?"

Nate nodded, lifting her up in his arms. He carried her to the car before gently settling her in the passenger seat. He gave her a bucket before getting sleeping Hunter and putting her in the carseat in the back.

Dakota was freezing cold, her lips nearly blue

Nate drove fast, straight to her doctor.

She whimpered in pain quietly as they pulled in

Nate scooped her up, and scooped Hunter up, carrying both inside.
