Nate smiled. Jackie nickered.

Dakota hurried into the bathroom three times more while they were outside so she could throw up
| |

Nate and Hunter were blissfully unaware, with the horses.

Hunter sighed after a while, yawning. "Sleepy" He muttered. Dakota had run to the bathroom again, left with nothing to throw up and the heaving feeling makign her miserable. She curled into a ball on the bathroom floor, sobbing in pain and frustration

Nate nodded, carrying Hunter inside to bed. He heard Dakota, running to her after Hunter was asleep.

Dakota sobbed from pain, anger, and exhaustion as she lay there
| |

Nate ran to her side, kneeling down and holding her tight, rocking her back and forth, comforting her.

Nate cradled her against his chest, rubbing her back. "Shh, it's okay, you're okay..." he kept whispering

She eventually stopped sobbing but the tears didn't slow. She lay against Nate, his touch grounding her more than anything
