Nate continued to hold her while she slept.

Dakota woke a few hours later, leaving up and vomiting in the bedrooms bathroom toilet. She moaned in pain, clutching her stomach as she slumped against the wall

Nate rushed over to the bathroom with her, knelt by her side rubbing her back. When she was done, "Maybe you should see a doctor about this," he said softly, worried.

"I don't want to put that on you, though..." She muttered weakly. She heard Hunter yelling for them both in his room, calling for them.

"Honey, you're not putting it one me, you have to get better," he whispered, "I'll be right back," he said going to get Hunter.

She nodded as he left

Nate walked over to Hunters room, going to comfort the boy. "What happened, buddy?"

"I want to go outside"

"Okay, what do you wanna do outside?"
