"What if suddenly you get angry at me or....or tired of me...or I become more valueable sold?" |

"I'm not selling you," He said, tone lightly snappy. "Look, I love you, you already know that. Since I love you, if get mad at you, I just act like im not." |

Kayla was silent, not looking at him anymore and just folding her hands in her lap. She had heard enough angry voices in the past that she couldn't deal with another. She laid down, his words ringing in her ears as she squeezed her eyes shut and hummed the one song she cared about- the one she would hum while stitching Gale |

Gale shut his eyes, though they snapped open as she started humming. "You.....you remember...our song." |

Kayla nodded. "It was the only thing that kept me sane. Thememories and the song to go with them." She said softly, her eyes still shut as she resumed humming |
