Regan walked silently for about half an hour... she was so tired, and she hadn't meant to snap, and she certainly hadn't wanted to make him feel bad. "I- I'm sorry, I didn't mean it to come out like that," she told him after a few minutes of quiet. She just really didn't want to upset him with the minor details of her life. She was scared here, just like everyone else... and she felt like Tyler just really didn't want to hear it. She'd asked him about his life, if he was okay... it didn't seem like he'd ever even so much as thought about her, but why was it just now he was worried about it? She didn't have a clue.

Tyler thought about what Regan had said. -Maybe she is upset I never asked about her life... before this- he thought, grimacing slightly. He was sure that she would... hate him more if he told her the answer to that one. Or maybe it would help... as she spoke his head snapped up. "It's fine." He said quietly, and kept pacing onward. He took a shallow breath in, letting it out slowly. "Regan... the only reason I didn't ask about your life is because I was scared. The only reason I talked about mine I saw because I was scared. Scared that you were going to leave me... for the first time in forever I had someone who didn't resent me, and I didn't want to drive you away..." he trailed off, his voice thick with sadness. Almost every decision he had made up to now he regretted.... Tyler's life was pretty much falling apart before his very eyes. Everything he had said to Regan... it was all coming back now... and he felt like it would drown him.

Regan turned to him after a few moments, her brows furrowed. "What?" She asked quietly. Did he really think she'd leave him? The only reason he thought he might leave her was that she was annoying him - he'd told her she was annoying him, so she just wanted to believe it. She hadn't given him any reason to make him think she might leave, though, had she? "I'm not going to leave unless you ask me to, so please don't worry about that," she told him in a softer tone. "And not telling me about anything wouldn't have driven me away, nor would have asking me anything. I haven't been around another person in... months. It's nice to just have someone else to talk to, you know," she murmured after a few moments. She still didn't care if he asked about her... she was just a bit disheartened, she supposed, about everything.

Tyler's brows furrowed. He was sad... and confused... and a little angry... but he really did hope they could stay together. He noticed they were getting closer to their destination, and the trees were slowly starting to thin out. "I won't worry about it.. then." He said quietly, shifting the backpack for the 26th time that trip. "And you really can talk to me.. I promise I won't judge you or anything." He said after a while, then just continued walking. Tyler knew neither of them were the best at cheering each other up... though Regan was a little better. Tyler just... wasn't a people person, although he didn't like being around Regan.

Regan went quiet for a little while... she was tried, and she didn't mean to upset him. He was the first person that hadn't tried to kill her in months, and she was very, very grateful for that. "I didn't want to upset you or anything," she whispered to him after a few moments. She looked at her map, and it seemed like they were getting closer... she sighed and turned around to look at him. "I don't know how friendly these people are, so... just be careful," she told him after a couple of moments.

"I'm not upset." Tyler murmured. His eyes had a steel hard look in them... he was ready. When she turned to look at him he was holding a dagger... though he hid it. "Do I Strike you as the kind of person that would just trust someone I don't know?" He snorted, tensing up as he saw something ahead. He got ready... he was good at throwing his Death Star:daggers so he was going to use that skill if needed.

Regan sighed and rolled her eyes. He wasn't easy to read... not at all. She cocked her head at his next comment, though. "I'm not sure what you strike me as," she huffed, a hand on her knife as she saw movement in the clearing... she could see smoke lifting up through some of the trees... a campfire. She could smell some sort of salty stew and already heard a few deeper voices. She looked to Tyler to lead the way, because now that they were here she was admittedly a bit nervous.

Tyler tipped his head. Why were the voices so deep... maybe it was just because they were far away. He crept silently, nodding at Regan before disappearing into the shadows. He was less than five feet from her, but moving silently through the shadows, with black clothing. He stopped in the bushes outside the clearing, observing the people. (You describe them.. so you can decide how many and what gender, stuff like that)

(Alright! You want to describe the person that liked your character, though?) Regan followed closely behind Tyler, slipping into the bushes by the clearing... there were people walking around, perhaps a dozen or so of them... seven girls and five guys. They looked like they'd started to build up a camp out of old plywood and iron sheets... there were a couple of people by a campfire, hovering over a rather large pot of what had to be that wonderful stew she was smelling... a few dogs ran about, and she had to hold onto Millie to stop her from darting off to try and play with them. "They look alright, no?" She whispered to the boy.

(Sure, sounds good) - Tyler peeked into the clearing. He silently cursed in his head. So ... many ... people. Tyler grabbed Raptor's muzzle as his big dog started to growl. He looked at Regan. "If you want to... go." He said quietly, his gaze fixed on the people. There is usually a *leader* in a situation like this... Tyler guessed it was the biggest guy. He seemed to be telling people what to do. The guy was at least 5 inches shorter than Tyler. He shook his head, glancing around again. One girl caught his eye... she wasn't really like the others. She wasn't complaining, didn't have hair dye, and was sitting alone. Her hair was a light brown, almost red, and her eyes were icy blue. She wore a sky blue tank top with dark grey sweatpants. Tyler looked at Regan, waiting for her to make the first move.
