Sam read for a little ehile before taking a long shower. when he had finished he put some clean clothes on and walked out the door to find Will, Jack and Suzie waiting for him on the drive. "aw look, who's the birthday boy, eh?" said will jokingly as he ruffled sam's hair. "stop it!" Sam laughed. "Ellie sould be her in a minute then we can go."

Once Ellie was back, she untacked and turned the horses out again, then dashed back to her cabin. It had been half an hour or so, so she had a little time to get showered and dressed. She straitened her hair before before making her way out. She felt a little bad for making the others wait but she was there now. "Hey," She said with a small laugh as she saw Sam's hair all ruffled up. "Are we ready to go?" She questioned.

"yeah lets go." Sam said as they all piled into a car and drove to town. They stopped at the same pizza place they ha been to a while before and went insie, before orering. Sam got spinach and feta, ehich he loved. They all enjoyed talking and laughing, and it turned out suzie had ordere a surprise cake, which a waitress brough for them. They all sung "happy birthday," and sam grinned a little embarrasedly but still ha a great time.

Ellie was quite on the trip there, mainly because she didn't like cars an awful lot, but she eventually started to become a little more lively once they had settled down in one of the pizza booths. Her highlight of the evening was most definitely when Sam revived his cake, mainly because of the look on his face. He looked a bit like an embarrassed child, which she had concluded as being a little cute. "See, aren't you glad you came out?" She asked with a laugh.

"yeah..thanks for making me do this." Sam said between huge mouthfuls of his favourite chocolate cake. He thanked Suzie for the cake and finished his fourth slice, concluding "i feel like a pig." he paused and laughed, "i probably am a pig!"

Ellie smiled softly to him, glad that she had done the right thing by convincing him to come out as she hadn't wanted to make him do anything he didn't want to. She chuckled at his comment about him being a pig, she giving him a nod, "Yes, that you are," She said, her voice dripping with sarcasm.

Once they had all finished, and chatted for a bit, they payed the bill together an all walked out. Will, Jack and Suzie said their goodbye's and Happy Birthday's and went their seperate ways, leaving Ellie and Sam to wait for a taxi. Sam sat down on a nearby bench, stetching his legs and yawning, it was getting late. "that was fun." he said simply.

Ellie followed the group out and exchanged goodbyes before going to wait for the taxi by Sam. "It was," She agreed before going to sit by him. "Thank you for letting me come," She said lightly as she rested her back against the bench. While she had enjoyed her time out, she was a little tired now, so she struggled slightly to keep her eyes open.

"you suggested it, so how could i not." Sam said, offering a shy smile. the Taxi arrived, and they got home to the yard quickly. Sam got out of the car and yawned widely."see you tomorrow then." he said, moving a little closer towards the barns to check if Nero was OK. The horse was fine, chomping away on his abundance of hay, as per usual.

"You still didn't have to invite me," She said with a small chuckle before going quiet until they got back to the yard. "Night," She said with a small smile before making her way slowly back to the living accommodation. She sat on the mini porch for a short while, just watching the white clouds in the dark sky. She puffed out and started to focus on the stars, connecting the patterns in her head. She remembered doing this when she was very young with her father, so it made a smile start to spread shyly across her face.
