Anya layed quietly for a little while, almost trying to get herself back to sleep, though it wasn't really working. It was strange, she still felt tired, but she couldn't get herself back to sleep. Stil, she'd just laid there, her eyes closed as she started to run her fingers gently up and down Sages back... she hadn't expected him to be there when she woke up, or that he'd even be asleep. He must have been tired... more so than she'd thought. If he was asleep, then he probably needed the rest. She had never seen him take good rest for granted before, so he had to be tired, and she didn't plan on waking him

Sage was still out cold when Anya started running her hand up and down his back, though subconsciously it was still calming, and he relaxed a bit more, even in his sleep. Relaxing completely wasn't something he did very often...but he was curled up with Anya, and was actually getting a decent sleep in, one too deep for the nightmares to play ring-around-the-rosie in his brain. He sort of just curled up into the girl before relaxing again with a soft huff of air. It was a good thing Att would be fine no matter where he went if he woke up...Sage wasn't likely to wake up any time soon.

Anya rested quietly for a short while, still running her fingers up his back and curled around him, more than happy to see him relaxed for once... he wasn't rolling around, or trying to get himself awake, and she was happy to see him comfortable like that. She should probably get up and do something... be productive, or something, but she was just at ease to sit here with Sage. He could wake in his own time. She highly doubted that he'd have a good sleep like that unless he was completely and utterly exhausted... so she didn't want to wake him up.

Sage was asleep for a while, just as he'd thought, and when his eyes did flutter open a little over an hour later, he sort of just huffed out a breath and curled up into the girl tighter with a tiny groan. He had to get up and check in on Att, he knew that, but they buy would be fine...and he was relaxed and comfortable and he really didn't want to move. He just wanted to cuddle, maybe get a few kisses if the girl felt well enough. She looked much better though, so hopefully she felt the same.

Soon enough, Anya did manage to get back to sleep... or, well, in that weird half asleep half awake phase, but if Sage woke up then she'd be able to feel it. Anya gave a small smile when she felt the boy shift into her a little more and rested her chin on his head. "Hey," she whispered softly before giving a little sigh... he'd have to go soon, and she was fine with that... but she did just want to make sure he was alright... she'd never actually seen him being so tired before.

Sage smiled when the girl murmured the greeting, and he hummed sort of half-asleep hello back at the girl, shifting slightly into a more comfortable position. "You feel any better after sleeping?" He did hope the girl felt better...she looked it, so maybe she was just really tired, and after resting for a few days she would be good to go, back to her normal self. And, of course, hopefully he didn't get sick himself, since he really couldn't afford to get Att sick now. He didn't mind if he himself got sick, but Att could have issues from a cold he may not. Or, rather, issues he could deal with that the much younger boy couldn't.

Anya gave the boy a small nod at the question before going to sit up a little bit. "I do feel better..." she murmured softly before trying a smile. "I suppose the cold got to me a little, is all. I'll be fine in a few days," the girl said hopefully before looking back at him with a slightly amused expression. "Why are you still here? You'll get yourself ill as well. And Att is gonna need you," she reminded gently. Of course, she was grateful that he was with her, but right now she definitely wasn't the most important thing around... Atticus was. And she'd much rather Sage making sure the little guy was alright rather than seeing to her because of a cold.

Sage nodded with a murmur of "good" at her first comment before groaning. "I know, but I don't wanna get up," he chuckled. "You're warm." He grinned over the girl sheepishly, even though he knew she couldn't see his face. "I'll go get him in a few minutes and feed him if he's hungry. He can't hurt himself or anything if he's even awake," he thought out loud, kind of wanting to just never leave the bed. "He'll be fine," he assured the girl. "Besides, I think I just needed to see you wake up," he admitted.

Anya gave she boy a small smile and a gentle peck on the head to the boy before shaking her head. "Really? I'm actually kind of cold," she mused lightly before patting his shoulder. He was right... realistically, the child wouldn't get himself into much trouble. If he was asleep... then, well, he was asleep, but if he woke up then the child would be capable of a fair bit of damage, both to himself and the room. "Just need to get back to him before he wakes up." Anya glanced down at him for a moment with a slightly cocked head. "You don't need to worry about me not waking up," she chuckled softly, slightly amused by the thought. She knew he was still worried about things after Liz, but he wasn't in the slums anymore... and he didn't need to be so worried about things like that.

Sage chuckled and tilted his head up to press a light kiss to the girls collar bone. "You're sick," he pointed out in an amused tone of voice. Then he grinned sheepishly again. 'i know, I just worry about...everything all the time," he chuckled. "I can't help it...I'm not used to not having the load on me all the time. It feels weird," he admitted.
