By the time they'd gotten back, she had calmed down a bit, but she was still pretty stressed and worried. "No, the bedroom," she said.

He nodded and took her there, making sure she was as comfortable as possible

Lorelei waddled around for a bit, pacing, trying to stay standing for as long as possible. When the baby was ready, she laid down.

"Ready?" He asked softly, worried and scared

Lorelei nodded. "Yeah," she breathed. "Call my midwife,"

He nodded and did so, the midwife showing up 5 minutes later. Kai showed the midwife to the bedroom, talking Lorelei through it as Kai spoke soothing words to her and held her hand

Lorelei cried out as she pushed, squeezing Kais hand tight, but after a bit, the room filled with a newborns cry and she smiled. The midwife cleaned the baby up before gently handing the crying child to Lorelei. "Congradulations, its a baby girl," she hummed. Lorelei smiled down at the baby, holding her close.
