"There hasn't been anyone i've wanted except you." She said, her anger flaring. "Not the fucking prince, not anyone from the other kingdoms or camps, nobody but you." She snapped, glaring at him. "I love you and I have since the day I ran off. I didn't want to leave you. I regret it entirely. By now, we could have a family. But I ruined it. I'm sorry. I thought I was doing the right thing."

Gale rolled his eyes, getting sick of her uselessness. "Blah blah blah, why'd you run off? All i'm getting is that you regret it, but why did you go? Still haven't heard it."

"I went because I didn't want to be a burden to you." She snapped, her breath coming out in a sigh she didn't know she'd been holding in. "I didn't want the reason you got caught to be because of me. I hate myself for it and I wanted to turn around but you'd already gone."

"Wouldn't of guessed that since you were amused that night, very amused." Gale noted, not really caring what she was saying as he snapped a leg of a fox off from the fire before eating it.

"Would you be okay...with me staying here? With you?" She asked cautiously

|
|

|
"Don't know, trust you only a smidge more after you explained yourself but uh, still kinda mad, so, choice is yours." Gale explained, heading to sit back over by the fire as a breeze swept in.

"I'll take my chances." She said, wishing she still had her daggers anyhow. He could- and would, it seemed -kill her without a second thought

"Fine, but if guards track us down i'm hightailing it. My value's only gone up over the last months," He informed, propping himself up against a tree.
