Lorelei snatched it from the backseat, eating a slice immediately. "Mmm..."

"That good?" He asked, pulling up to the house

"Good" He said, kissing her cheek and taking the rest inside as well as helping her into the house

Lorelei smiled, waddling inside, but as soon as she crossed through the doorway, there was a rush of fluid. Lorelei gaped. "Kai... oh my god, Kai! My water broke!" she called out to him.

He dropped the pizza on the table and ran to her, taking her hand. "I'm gonna grab the bag and then get you to the car. Wait here, I'll be right back" He said hurriedly, grabbing the bag from the doorway's closet and rushing back to Lorelei. He took her hand and gently helped her to the car before tossing the bag into the backseat and getting in. "I'm gonna speed, just so you're prepared." He said softly, a worried and terrified look in his eye. He rushed to the hospital, thank heavens hitting all green lights and no stop signs, before hurrying to help Lorelei into the hospital

"No, Kai, I wanna stay here!," she called to him but he didn't hear. By the time she was in the car, "No, Kai-" she started before she was cut off as he started speeding. She instantly started to sob in pain and in fear. He knew she was terrified of speeding. And by the time they arrived at the hospital, he was already moving her towards the building. "No! No!! No, no, no! Kai!" she pushed him away. "I wanted my birth at home! Don't you remember that!? You're ruining it!" she screamed, crying. "Ahhhh!" she screamed as another contraction hit her. Lorelei waddled over to a bench nearby, sitting slowly, holding her belly as she cried. She was stressed, scared and upset, and she was going to have this baby soon, and not at home with her husband, where she wanted to be.

"Let's go home. I'm so, so sorry, Lorelei. I can't even explain how bad I feel for forgetting the one thing you told me you 100 percent wanted...I'm so sorry. Let's go home. I'll drive safe, we'll get there in time, I swear"
