Sage chuckled and rubbed his hands together excitedly at the prospect of raiding the kitchen yet again. "Lead the way, my friend," he chuckled. "Anya can stand to wait for a bit. Especially if we run." He nudged the boy lightly and winked. "She wouldn't want you to just waste away talking to her," he giggled lightly. It would have been more fun to tease the two of them about their relationship if they were more than, well....friends. Not that he was complaining...the girl loving him was great, but it wouldn't end well...and he just wished the girl wouldn't have to lose someone she loved. And he could really only hope she handled it better than him.

Luther gave a grin before turning heel started towards the kitchen. It'd be smart for them not to make a mess this time... the kitchen staff were probably already tired of their little messes by now. And, well, he didn't want to get themselves banned from that entire end of the castle. "She's going to be chewing my ear off when I'm on my death bed. Probably about all the things I've done wrong... so let's not make a mess for once, otherwise it'll be the last thing I hear about," the boy complained as they made their way up towards the kitchen door and swung it open, much to the chef's surprise.

Sage chuckled and nodded, following the boy down the hallways they had to go through to reach the kitchen. "Fair enough. Well just stop in quick and take what they have. It's not almost time for a meal so it'll be fine." When they burst through the doors and startled the cook, he grinned and waved as he stepped next to Luther. "I'm gonna grab some bottles and stuff too," he muttered to Luther before wandering off to look for stuff.

Luther gave a light nod before walking over to a cabinet and pretty much pulling all the little snacks it that he could before turning to one of the cooks and telling him exactly what he wanted... the servant moved so fast to make something up for him that you'd think he was being held captive. Still, the boy did get his meal and gave Sage a bit of a nod to say their little raid was over. At least for this time. The chances of them coming back to traumatise the cooks were... high. "Now let's go find the princess before she scalps one of us," he told him with an amused chuckle. Edited at December 11, 2022 08:45 AM by Belle

Sage gathered everything he wanted bottle and milk wise before runnaging through some other cabinets to find some snacks and other tidbits for the teens. When Luther told him he was ready to go, he nodded with a chuckle and followed the other boy out the door. "We took a while...if she's awake she'll have gotten impatient by now," he admitted. "Stay strong, man," he chuckled in a sort of joking way before pushing into the lounge, quietly so if the girl was asleep they wouldn't wake her up.

Luther puffed out his chest as though he was getting ready for war before poking his head in behind Sage. The warmth of the room hit him like a brick, and as they entered the room he noticed the light scent of cinnamon and hot chocolate floating around. The girl had set a little candle ablaze... and it definitely made for a comforting space, very easy just to chill out in. Well, Anya definitely seemed chilled out, because just as they'd expected, Anya was completely blacked out under the blankets, with an empty mug in her hand and a book resting on her shoulder, along with a a semi eaten biscuit on the side table. Luther could only chuckle at the sight before going to perch on a couch in the corner. "Should we wake her up?" He asked in amusement.

Sage chuckled at the sight of the girl, setting his things down gently before going over to the girl and taking the mug and book from her and tucking the blanket up and around her gently. He shook his head slightly with another slight chuckle. "No, let her sleep. She probably needs it...she's been helping with Att some," he whispered, gesturing for Luther to go to the other side of the room. "We can play a game or something as long as we're somewhat quiet....she's a pretty decent sleeper." He realized he didn't really have an excuse as to how he knew the girl was a deeper sleeper, though he didn't think Luther was going to put the dots together. Whatever, he could think of something if he did get suspicious.

Luther rolled his eyes slightly when the other boy when to tuck Anya in, but gave a small chuckle anyway. "What a gentleman," he teased before giving a bit of a nod at the idea of playing a game of sorts. It'd be fun, he supposed. "Yeah a game sounds good," he murmured quietly before wandering over to a little shelf and grabbed a pile of small boxes with all kinds of card and board games before making space on the table to put them. "Pick something," he prompted before flopping back down on the couch. He hadn't really thought much of his deep sleeper comment at first, mainly because he knew the two spent a lot of time together... but, the more he thought about it the slightly more curious about that little statement he got. Whatever, it wasn't something to be particularly fixated on.

Sage snorted and rolled his eyes at Luther's slight tease. "Just means I get the girls favor when she wakes up and tries to kill us," he joked before going through all the boxes Luther had grabbed. He didn't really know most of them, but he did know chess and rummy, which he'd played for money at the tavern plenty of times. "You any good at either of these," he asked Luther, absentmindedly holding the boxes up so the boy could see what he was talking about as he looked at some other games with his other hand.

Luther glanced up at the boxes, though by then he'd stuffed his face full of food. He pointed at the chess box before swallowing his food and giving a sheepish smile. "Chess is good. I'm rubbish at rummy," he chuckled before grabbing the box from the boy and starting to set up, "black or white?" He asked with a slightly cocked head before pretty much deciding he'd be white and spinning the board around so that the other was facing Sage. "You go first I suppose," the boy shrugged lightly before giving a bit of a grin.
