Sage eyes Remy with a chuckle, though his shoulders did relax some. "In shit, huh," he mused. "If it weren't such a repulsive idea I'd have half a mind to see if it were true," he joked, moving to take the meat off the fire now that it was pretty much done. "Then eat up, and we'll watch the sunset," he noted.

Remy smiled and chuckled, taking his food and nibbling at it. He'd found out he wasn't a fan of human food, but just to be polite, he nibbled at the meat Sage cooked.

Sage dug into his own meat, grunting when he noticed Remy just nibbling. "If you don't like it, say so," he noted. "Saves food and we can get you things you'd rather have," he pointed out. Money would be tight....if they could each hunt for themselves it would save a lot. Plus....he wanted to do good for Remy. Make food he'd enjoy. He supposed he was just used to doing all the work. He was already trying to figure out how to catch enough fish for him and all that.

Remy blushed. "I'm used to eating fish, so this is pretty different," he hummed. "I can get some fish the next time I go out,"

Sage nodded with a chuckle. "That's fine with me," he noted. "Eat what you want," he added, finishing his own piece of meat and then glancing at the time. "I am gonna shower quick before the sunset though," he noted. He really was gross, and they'd be up late so he wanted to get it over with. It didn't take long though, and he'd moved to curl back up with Remy afterwards, leaving his hair down to air dry since they were outside.

Remy smiled and nodded. He wrapped an arm around Sages shoulders when he came back. He kissed his temple and smiled down at the man. "Have a nice shower?" He asked.

Sage hummed softly and leaned into Remy, crossing his good arm over his chest so he could hold the hand Remy slung over his shoulder. "I'm figuring out that warm water is quite lovely," he noted with a laugh, looking up at Remy happily. "I got lucky finding you," he murmured after a moment or so

Remy smiled, squeezing his hand. "I got lucky finding you," he smiled, leaning in and kissing him.

Sages lips curled into a grin when Remy moved in for the kiss. He kissed him back, closing his eyes and then just lingering there like that, close to Remy. He felt safe like this, with him.

Remy smiled, resting his forehead against Sages.
